Cell companies are planning on introducing a service where for 50 cents, someone can find out where you are (your cell phone, anyway). Are you ok with this?
No. I think this should be reserved to be used only by the authorities or as a subscriber service available to the person paying the bill for that particular phone. It absolutely should not be available for people to track anyone they chose.

How do i get a partner to WANT/INITIATE sex, i always have to do it..and alot of the times she turns me down (stress mostly). do i stop??? and wait for her?? when she does do i refuse?? becuase i also want her to want it in the future too.
Help to wash her stress away... let her know her emotional health is important to you. Be a friend, be supportive, give her a backrub... when she feels loved, it will show.
If that's not enough, it's possible she's clinically depressed, has a naturally low sex drive, or is no longer happy in the relationship.

By learning to value yourself again. Rejection hurts the most when you place a high value on the opinion of the person doing the rejecting.
Take a good look at how far you've come since then...especially raising your children alone. It takes someone strong to do that, even if you don't feel strong most of the time.

My boyfriends is 21. he has a little sister who is 6 and his oldest sibling is 23. is this a massive gap for children in a family? or is it normal?
It's becoming much more common. My ex was 23 when his youngest (biological) brother was born, then his mother went on to adopt another boy a few years younger. I know several people having "second" families with second spouses. It doesn't even seem weird to me anymore.

When you were a child did one of your parents speak to their friends on the phone in a foreign language so you would not know what they were talking about? The thing is that you knew enough words to figure out the subject.
My mother did this with my grandmother and aunts and uncles. They intentionally didn't teach french to my generation (18 of us) so they could have private conversations while watching us. It was especially useful for discussing Christmas and birthday gifts. LOL

Not completely, but it does get better. I know two women that have lost multiple children, and they both struggled horribly before moving on. But they DID move on, and are doing well now. I hope you can heal and find the solace that comes with acceptance. Blessings.

You haven't done anything wrong, it's beyond your control. You might feel guilty anyway, 'cuz she's your daughter and you don't want to disappoint her, but letting her know how much you wish you could be there will help her accept the situation. She'll probably be fine. No need for guilt.

Of course they should be welcomed. It is an opportunity for them to see your religion and understand your beliefs more, and they should be made to feel at ease. Thanking them for joining you today and sharing one or two practical bits of information is enough, they don't need to feel like they are in the spotlight.

What is a good summer diet?? I kinda wanna lose like 69 pounds by the time I can legally drive w/o adult... My dad used to eat a can of tuna a day with water...
Lots of water and lots of raw vegetables. Eating healthy in general is great, but raw veggies take longer to digest. Also, if you can learn to eat a salad without dressing or just a tiny bit of dressing, that'll save you a ton of calories. There's lots of fresh fruits in the summer that are in peak season, plus dairy aids in weight loss and yogurt is full of protien. And you have...

It can be frustrating, but it also depends on what kind of advice it is. Your 'surefire method' may be too extreme for their lifestyle and expectations. People only take advice if they think it suits them and their abilities.

Theres this girl in our class wo always hangs around with us and always follows me and my two mates and e don't really like her but she wants to be our friend. We hate her too. How can we get her to stop hanging with us? We hate her becase she's annoying.
Many annoying characteristics are borne of insecurities. Perhaps having a gentle talk with her about one or two of her most annoying behaviors will help you find out what's behind them, and she may stop behaving that way. If not, she may decide she doesn't want to be friends with someone that doesn't respect who she is, and will make the decision to seek friendship elsewhere.

I have never worn make up before. I am 17 and white...What would you suggest starting out with? (I don't want to look like an idiot either) I would prefer the colors to blend in with my skin tone.
For foundation, a tinted moisurizer is an easy thing to start with. Look for one with an SPF so you don't have to choose between your make-up and a sunscreen for the day. To test the color, dab a tiny bit on your finger and run it down your lower cheek to your jaw... this is the part of the face you need to match the color to. If you can't see the color after rubbing gently,...

He's in pain, get him to a vet. slip something under him to pick him up, such as a large piece of cardboard. Or you could prepare a box with a soft pillow or fluffy towel and put him in that. Don't make him travel in the car without lots of padding.

There are growth hormones that can add a little bit of length to your long bones (legs, arms) BUT only if the ends of your bones haven't fused yet. At 18, they probably have. And, even if not, you'll be unlikely to find a doctor willing to give you growth hormones at 18, because they can also cause the other bones to grow thicker, which could cause problems. Do you think people who are comfy with who they are, are less apt to find fault with others than are those who are unhappy with themselves?
Yes, I believe people that are able to accept their own faults are more likely to understand that nobody's perfect. We all have faults, and we all have wonderful qualities as well. Some just don't realize their own faults or would like to deny them because if they admit their faults then it would require emotional work to correct them.

Christians: Is it wrong for a man or woman to masterbait according to the bible? and if so, is it just as bad as having sex with the same sex ? Are all sexual sins as bad as each other?
The bible says nothing specific about masturbating. However, Leviticus 8 includes this "A man shall not lie with another man as with a woman, it is an abomination."
Clearly, God views homosexual behaviors very negatively, yet doesn't view masturbation as important enough to speak of. So, no, all sex sins are not the same.

Why do some lads not all think size 14 -16 is fat when it is't. its curvey
I'm female, 5'4". for someone my height, size 16 IS fat... it's too much width for my bone structure and height. Also, my largest size was 162 pounds, size 12. Medically, I was overweight. To get to a size 16 I would have been in the obese category according to medical charts.
What size is fat has more to do with proportion than it does with clothing sizes.

If someone would offer you to go acting in LA...would you do it? What would be the benefits and the downsides?
If it was a verifiable offer, such as a contract with a reputable agency, to have a continuing role in something I would go in a heart-beat. Same for a decent role in a movie. I wouldn't go for something tiny, though.
Benefits - to give a shot to one of my teenage dreams
Downsides - my kids aren't grown yet, so it would be a challenge to be away from them if it was short-term, or...

Should a work out be before or after a meal?
After. Before a workout you want to have a small snack and some water. After a work-out you need to replenish electrolytes and vitamins. If it is a weight-bearing workout, you'll need lots of protien and a little bit of carbs within 3 hours. If it's a cardio workout to burn fat, stick to veggies and a bit of dairy, but start with water and give yourself at least half an hour...

I have a friend who told me from the beginning to be completely truthful with her. Now she says that I am being truthful to the point of hurting her emotionally. I don't know how to handle it... any solutions?
1. Learn how to be truthful without being blunt, there's usually a gentle and kind way to say things.
2. Being truthful does not mean you have to speak up about every little thing. It's ok to just keep quiet about some things.

Physical labor. Do some extra chores around the house, and you won't lose out on your social life or have things taken away. As a teen, I'd have much rather done some housework than to have no phone privileges for a week.

What should you do when you discover signs of a unfaithful partner?
Get solid proof, then confront the guilty person. You really want to be sure, 'cause if there's any room for doubt you could be making false accusations or your partner may have the option of plausable deniablility. Either way, the whole situation would be very complicated.

Are you pro or anti gun control?
I'm sort of both. I have no problem with responsible gun ownership, and have considered getting a concealed weapons permit. I do however, have a problem with assault weapons. The few people I've known that have had them have also had mental issues, which I think have contributed to their attraction to these weapons. That freaks me out a bit.

I love my boyfriend,(who ive dated over a year) he is so amazing. But one of my friends keeps dissing him and talking bad about him. how do i get her to stop this? ive told her over and over not to, but if i start to cry about it she blames him!
She could be jealous of him. Did you used to spend a lot more time with her before he came into the picture?
You need to make it clear that he's an important part of your life, and that is NOT going to change, and that when she speaks badly about him it hurts you just as if she were speaking badly about you.
If she still can't be respectful, you might have to cut ties with her....

Is it really necessary to do the "saying I love you" stuff in a relationship - cant one just show love by their actions and deeds?
No. Actions speak louder than words, but the words are powerful at times when they need to replace actions, or fit hand and hand with them.
And when you know it's true, it feels SO good to hear someone say "I love you".

I think it depends on your relationship before the pregnancy. If it was a new relationship he might feel he doesn't have much invested in you, if you've been together a long time but were having problems, he might decide he can't handle the extra emotions that and responsibility that come with a pregnancy and baby. The price of postage is too low to begin with, FAR lower than in other countries.

My girlfriend said the making love shouldnt have happened, as she wasnt sure, but she owned up to misleading me, not being honest with feelings and doing it anyway. Should I end the relationship (2 weeks old)?
No, she probably just feels like things were going a bit too fast for her. That doesn't mean you can't have a good relationhip, it just means she's emotionally cautious. If you are patient and understanding, she'll have more respect for you and probably love you more for letting her be herself.

I have naturally honey-blonde hair. The well water in my home has a high iron content, and it's left my hair with a dingy, rusty darkness to it. Is there a safe way to strip the iron out of my hair, without dying it?
Try filling a jug with water and dissolving an asprin in it and using that as a rinse. If there is a lot of iron and other minerals, the water won't run clear, but will look kinda purple.
Rinse some more and use a good conditioner to protect the ends, which is where most of the minerals are likely to be absorbed.

What do i do if my bf of 4yrs works 6 days a wk, doesnt want to say i love you to me on the phone in case of 'bein laughed at and disrespected' by his employees, tells me to shush when on the phone to his workmates and hangs up on me wen we disagree
It sounds to me like he's trying to hide your relationship from his co-workers... so possibly he's seeing someone there as well, or maybe he's embarassed by his relationship with you for some reason.

Has he told you why he's upset? It's possible there's a misunderstanding somewhere, so you need to find out details of what's bugging him in order to try to patch things up.

What can I do to grow 3 inches?
Your age has a lot to do with it. Once the long bones have fused, they can't grow longer anymore. Fusing usually takes place in the late teen years, a little earlier for girls than for guys.
If you are still growing naturally the only influence you can have is to stay healthy, eat lots of healthy foods, calcium, protien etc. And exercise, it will help your bones develop stronger.

Right now give her time... the first few days are hell, and you are the source of her pain so seeing and speaking to you is very, very hard for her. Don't make excuses, own up to it in every way, and appologize - sincerely.

Because people don't take the time to analyze their own behavior, some don't understand it, and most have a need to protect themselves emotionally. Does anyone have a great beauty secret they want to share with me? Mine is I use Johnson's Baby shampoo to remove eye make up!
Johnson's baby shampoo is great... even people with sensitive skin can use it every day instead of soap.
I alternate using a scrubbing cleanser and a mud mask, and a simple facial cleanser.... I rarely use make-up, and I find that if I care for my skin gently it makes a big difference with less break-outs and looking fresh and healthy.

If an insured driver is driving a vehicle owned by his employer and the vehicle is totalled in an accident caused by the driver, is the driver normally covered under his policy for the market value of the vehicle? Or would reimbursement be out of pocket?
It depends on several things, especially if the insurance is full coverage or liability only. Also depends on the laws in that state, if the driver were breaking traffic laws, drunk, on drugs - legal or illegal, and if the car is up to date with registration and inspection.

My husband masterbates more than we have sex. We only have sex most times as little as twice a month. He will usually wait until I leave to go somewhere and watch porn then masterbate. Should I be concerned? I have tried many different things.
It sounds like he needs the porn to work himself up, meaning that he may have a porn addiction, or may need a heavy dose of visual stimulation. In either case, he's at an unhealthy level and it may be time to talk to a professional.

Yes, some of them are emotional ploys that are suspicious or coming from someone that has posted several questions/situations that contradict each other. Claiming problems that aren't real is a desperate and odd way of seeking attention, and it makes me wonder what else is wrong with them.

It sounds like you are having hormonal changes. You didn't say how old you are, but these kinds of changes are common in the 30's and up. Also, it could be your body reaction to stress, or something like an ovarian cyst. It's probably no big deal, but seeing your doctor could help put your mind at ease.

It depends where you live.... how far away are you from the pizza shop, whet kind of traffic at that time of day, etc. Contrary to what many people think, how long it takes them to get there is more important than the size of the order. If the travel situation is good, I do two bucks for the order plus a dollar a mile.

Why are peppers not so cheap? Are they difficult to grow? They cost more per gram than most vegetables to the point where I have often considered doing without them and using other vegetables in cooking instead.
Peppers don't last as long as some veggies, such as potatoes or carrots. They also need to be handled and packed more carefully. As for growing them, I don't know.

How do you make the first move if your unsure of the other persons feelings?
Just do it!
If you are afraid of ruining a friendship, then invite them to do something you know they'd enjoy, and try spending a few minutes talking about things a little more personal than you have before. You can test the water by seeing if that seems to strengthen the relationship or makes things a bit uncomfortable. Follow your heart from there.

A girl typically stops growing taller about 2 years after her first period, so it may be that you have a bit of growing to do. The most important thing you can do is to stay healthy! When you are sick your body has to focus on healing instead of growing. Eat well, get exercise, and do lots of stretching.
Also, don't limit yourself to catwalk... slightly shorter girls have a better...

Moms of more than two, would you recommend having more than two kids to someone? is it hard to find time for each child? do you feel like you could be doing a better job with each child if you only had two?
I have three, and I do think two would be less stressful for me, but I don't think it makes a big difference. From what I've seen the bigger issue is if you are emotionally ready to take on a third child, if the first two have health or learning issues that make them high-needs children, and how much of an age gap there is. I had 3 children in 4 years. I don't recomend that!...

Well im 23 and about 13 weeks pregnant and i am haveing an abortion i was wondering how i felt if anyone has ever had one and weather mass haelth pays for it i already have 3 kids and cant have another please help
Do some research into the psycological effects of having an abortion before you decide to go through with it. Most women struggle with guilt for the rest of their lives. I know someone that had an abortion at 16 and gave two babies for adoption in her early 20's, and the abortion haunts her but she's fine with the adoptions. I think that speaks volumes.

How soon can my dog have another litter she is a staffy, ive been looking it up on google and there is that many different answers im not quite sure from nxt period till up to 2yrs evan are vet has said july which is 6months after the litter was born
She can have another litter with her next heat cycle, which will be about 6 months. The conflicting info you are getting has to do with how long you SHOULD wait, not how long until she can get pregnant. It is unhealthy for a dog to have a litter twice in a row. She should have at least on heat cycle in between in which she is not bred.

There was a guy in my Human Development class in college that could talk circles around the teacher, who would stand there with his hand over his mouth and saying "interesting" or "I can see that".... I think he probably did feel dumb, but he took it well.

It's generally recommended not to work out the same muscle groups two days in a row. If you allow more time to heal, you will progress well. Eat protien in the three hours after a workout, and do some stretches and keep moving in some manner without resistance. Even just the motion of swinging your arms a bit while you walk is better than sitting still watching tv after a workout, it...

Perhaps she's hiding from her own painful memories. The daughter needs to try to broach the subject with her face to face when they both have time to talk out their feelings. It's the only...

If being wealthy makes a person feel important, and feeling important brings happiness, then why do they say that money can't buy happiness?
That rests on the assumption that being wealthy makes a person feel important and that feeling important brings happiness. This isn't likely to be true or constant. If being wealthy stopped bringing a feeling of importance or if feeling important no longer brought happiness, the whole thing just falls apart and happiness is no longer a result of having money.

How can you forget the person you love the most if he have cause you so much pain in the past? How can you move on if you have a child together?
You have to keep telling yourself he'll only hurt you again. Nobody wants to be hurt over and over, and knowing he hurt you so badly will eventually help you realize he's not right for you. Allow yourself to grieve, to miss certain things, and remind yourself you can find someone else that is also wonderful in those ways.

Answer to:
Are there any circumstances where the government should ban someone's right to have children?
yes, I think there are a few circumstances
pedophiles have no business raising a child, the amount of damage they could cause is far too high a price
Same for very violent people... most people occasionally slam doors or punch walls, but there are plenty that are too out of control
Also, people that are mentally incapable of raising a child due to retardation or mental illness.

Should house pets be neutered / spayed or not?
Yes, for several reasons.
Aside from the mega over-population of cats and dogs, it's healthier for them. Also, an un-neutered dog is far more likely to bite.

Why do some people still fear my dogs after I have shown how submissive they are and they have been around the dogs so many times? Is this fear just ingrained in people?
A dog's behavior can change very suddenly. I have a dog that is an angel most of the time, but if a man approaches my house while no adult is home, she gets very protective and could be quite dangerous if she got loose. I've also been bitten by a dog I was petting even though I didn't make any sudden movements. Anyone with a bad experience like that will always be uneasy...

Answer to:
Should a history of childhood abuse affect a criminal's conviction or sentencing?
I think it depends on the kind and severity of the abuse, the crime involved, and how long has the person been away from the abuse? Certainly an 18 year old still living with abusive parents is in a different emotional place than a 40 year-old that hasn't spoken to his parents in 10 years. Also, the severity of the abuse could impact the criminal's psychological state of mind beyond...

My verbally abusive h. is always complaining that I didn't want a kid, after 6 years of marriage, and I am more focused on my career. Do you believe that if I have a kid with him, maybe he will stop being abusive as he won't feel rejected anymore?
I would think the stress and responsibility would make him worse.
If you don't have a screaming desire to have a child, it's not a good idea.
Answer to:
Do you think that parents should go through their kids rooms/cars before they have reason to?
It depends on the child and the circumstances. Perhaps the parent simply has a very bad feeling about something. A teen might see that as no reason, but a worried parent that trusts their instincts would think it's plenty.

Has your personality changed as you've gotten older?
Yes, very much.
I'm no longer too timid to voice my opinions and feelings, I'm not as much of a bleeding heart or push-over as I once was. As a teenager, I was very insecure and had no backbone because I didn't want to be involved in any kind of conflict. I've now come to understand that some conflicts are healthy and productive, and most of what I have to say really...

Yes, especially for those that don't start dating early. If you wait until you know yourself better you'd be more likely to choose better partners.

Ladies...Do you think that drug store cosmetics are just as good as designer costmetics? I bought a $50 (Guerlain) gloss and I swear Bonnie Bell works/feels better for $3.99!
I think there's good and bad in all price ranges. The one thing I wouldn't skimp on though is skin care products, I do spend a little more for quality with that.

If you had the power to hurt people with your thoughts, would you use that power?
Occasionally... I would certainly use it if I had to protect someone, especially a child. I would try to resist using it for personal vindication, although I know that would be quite tempting at times!

Has anyone ever heard the saying " Jesus really wasn't Christian, But would have made one heck of a Buddhist." If so, or if not, what does that mean to you?
I have heard that, and I think it simply means he was a peaceful, kind, loving person. The Bible talks of him meditating in the garden, so that fits in nicely, too.

How much did you hate the town you grew up in?
I hated the isolation of a small town when I was a kid... but now I wish I could find a town like that again. My hometown has been in a financial hell for the past 25 years, much worse than the US is seeing as a whole now. I couldn't possibly go back, but I do miss the way it used to be.

I have a friend who always seems to be mad at me, either for calling her at the wrong time, or not calling her enough. We have fun but it always ends up being my fault and i end up apologizing to her. Is this friendship worth keeping?
She sounds like a control freak.
I doubt this relationship is healthy for either of you, but especially for you. Cutting ties might hurt for a while, but would probably be worth it.

Is there ever a reason anyone should be subjected to seeing a coworker's "tramp stamp" tattoo on her lower back throughout the course of a workday in an office environment? Tacky and trashy?
It doesn't matter if she has a tatoo there or not, at work she should dress appropriately for the job. If her attire fits the environment, fine.

poor and generous... generosity is a wonderful characteristic, stingy is a sign of selfishness. I want her to be with someone caring and giving, of himself and his time and affection, not someone selfish that won't be what she needs.
