Sometimes, variation duplicates may not be marked, and those flags may sometimes be denied. If you do see duplicates, just flag them. For some reason, I'm not sure if it actually makes sense. When you asked a question, you needed an answer if an answer was to pop up. It doesn't make sense where you answer your own question if you still don't know it. Then again, it makes sense in another way. Knowledge grows, and so do people. I actually find it very much quicker, only that sometimes, you don't know at first who commented if you have a current and very busy activity folder. It really becomes useful when only a single question is involved. I find this quite faster and easier than sometimes having to wait up on the profile and activity page.

What is going on with it? It's your emulator that is actually the problem. Emulators can sometimes backfire on you, giving you graphic problems like this example. Emulators are not guaranteed in 100% graphic success. The only way to prevent graphic problems in this case is to remove the emulator, and try on another console instead.

How many people are in a hockey team? How long is a period in a hockey game? How many periods are there in a hockey game? The numbers vary on each team. Some teams have more players than others. Usually, it would consist of 4 lines, each with 5 men. In the NHL, there is 20 minutes of game time in every period. In a hockey game, there are 3 periods/intermission. Overtime and shootouts are applied if both teams time at the end of the 3rd period.

Why can't "outside the bag" questions be duplicated? Not exactly or redundantly, but just a different spin. Doesn't your pondering of what, why, and how vary over time, moods, phrasing, etc? It's a bit difficult that some questions are not marked as duplicate and yet others are duplicates in outside the bag. Sometimes, the question may not sound like a duplicate, and not those easy question, but rather thought provoking ones that we tend not to look forward as a duplicate. Then again, I have seen many questions that have been rejected as a duplicate as well too....

Have you ever been able to get a decision reversed regarding the flagging of one of your questions? I just had an either / or question flagged as being a duplicate of a question asking how. Yes I have, and there was a question that was marked as a nonsense question. I wasn't sure why this question was rejected though. I sent some feedback to the staff, and in no time, the rejection was reversed.

What do you think of this idea? If the AB staff made recategorizing flags worth just 1 point while we maintain all the other flag values. I would have to say that this is a good idea. If this were to happen, we would have less flagging on 'Wrong Category'. Users won't flag as much in moving categories from one to another. Yet, it does help when there are questions that are moved in an unspecific or wrong category.

The account started on Sunday, giving that user a full week to earn the points without resetting. The user made #5 in that week of June. If two or more flag one question as wrong category, the best category is selected if chosen differently. I would say that both users get the moderation points, since it's hard to realize these kinds of questions. If two or more users flag it as a duplicate, and it is, it will be marked as a duplicate, and both users get the points for the flag of the question.

I am currently using firefox (latest version) and it works ok with it . Although I hope for better performance . I also use Firefox as my master browser. It works quite well and runs great. Sometimes however, it can run a bit slow because of the website speed. If the speed becomes too slow, then I use Safari on my Mac. The Safari browser actually gives more speed than Firefox, but I also have known that Safari usually crashes more than Firefox.

Is replying to a rejected flagging email with questions about the rejection as effective as feedback? Does the AB staff pay attention to those replies? I have tried responding to e-mails about the rejected questions and I have yet to receive a reply. I don't think that the Staff doesn't pay attention to these letters. You're going to see questions that are in the wrong category, especially some questions that appear in the Answerbag category that are in to relation to Answerbag. If you get sent in the Penalty Box, you can always ask for an appeal and explain why you do not deserve to be in the Penalty Box for that reason. If you can cope with the Administrators, they can release you from the Penalty Box before the expiration date.

Can a user be placed into the penalty box if they put defaming information about another user on their profile, no matter how indirect they attempt to make it? It is actually unfair that someone would post such kind of information on another user. Discouragements like these should be limited instead. It's rather not nice to post defaming information on another user, and repeated uses or major infractions involving defaming information could be sent in the Penalty Box.

When a question becomes marked as a duplicate, you original question will be deleted, and all the answers to the question will transfer to the first and original question to whoever else asked a similar question. What does all this mean? It has been known that you can actually lose points through your moderation. Even though they didn't refer to the link, in the answer, and answered the question correctly? Would you flag it? Usually, it would have to depend on the situation. If this is only temporary and rather just that one answer only, I wouldn't consider it as spam. If they continue to promote another website over and over again repeatably, them that's when it should considered as spam.

My moderation indicates I have flagged either two questions or answers and I cannot remember any of them. Will it show up here if I flagged an answer as well? How can I track them down? It's actually not possible to keep track of your moderation unless you write down the questions and the web domain number of the question in the address bar. You cannot access through moderation. It only counts your submissions on each flag on both questions and answers.

AB is designed to make money from adverts. So why do AB staff moderate out some questions that are legal, even if wacky, rather than sticking them in "outside the bag"? Surely more questions and answers makes more money? Those advertisements that you see on the right are paid for. People who advertise through questions, answers, or comments, are actually commiting advertising without paying for it. That's why these questions should be rejected. And according to the questions, Answerbag doesn't gain money by more questions or answers, but rather by the advertisements that are used.

The moderators and the staff are the ones who check the flagging process. They are the ones who decide which questions should be rejected or not, and which categories should be recategorized or not.

I've had more problems with IE than Firefox. I would have to think that the computer performance is a major impact that may affect your internet speed. When someone flags a Wrong Category post, does Admin. have to go to the post and manually change it from an old category to the new one suggested or is it automatically re-categorized (assuming it was OK'd)? When an Admin or a Moderator sees a wrong category flag being put, they first check the flag to see if it will be approved. If approved, then they must change the question into the new category, just like the other flags that apply as well too. I'm sure that it would be nice to have a program or something automatic where flags can be sent through a program or a machine.

There could be two problems. The first one may involve that the reader on the GBA may not respond correctly or to its functions. This can be correctly solved by cleaning the reader. If a question is posted twice by mistake does that mean it's not a duplicate? I've had duplicate flags rejected three times reporting them. I don't why are those kinds of questions are getting rejected. They should be marked as a duplicate. Whenever I see these kinds of cases, the flags are approved when this happens. However, I did receive rejected flags from duplicates, because they were not exactly worded as the other questions. Other than that, the flags were going in. You might want to check up with the staff about it.

What does Answerbag look like to a user whose account has been penalty boxed? Could you post screenshots? There's nothing really special. It doesn't take you to another website or anywhere else. It just locks your account from asking, answering, commenting, and moderating. Here are some screenshots when I was thrown in the Penalty Box in June. The first picture shows that the answer and comment bar are missing. The second picture shows that I cannot rate or moderate the question....

How come my moderation percentage has gone down? i only ever moderate dupes, so that shouldnt make it go down??? (still a bit new with this technical side of things) Sometimes, the moderation doesn't fully kick in. Other times, some flags are not yet received. You might want to check your e-mail to see if there are any moderation flags that were not approved that could be the cause as well.

Why is the system so slow when you try to flag an answer if you are flagging repeatedly from a chronic offenders home page? (ie a spammer whose every ? is spam)? Does the answer have to reload all the ad material before you can scroll and flag? If you are opening another web page, it has to reload. The same applies on your internet browser there as well. I don't think I've had problems with moderation speed. Maybe it would be nice if there was a faster feature for moderation.

If I see an obvious spammer do I have to flag each question individually..or can I collect multiple points by just sending in a covering report? The points aren't that important..it just seems so inefficient to go through say 50 answers and flag each one. What's actually best is not to flag the spam answers in the first place. Although it may restore your moderation percentage, you really are not going to receive the points for this. For these cases, these flags would not actually count for points, just for your percentage.

If you type your comment into a new answer by mistake is there anyway to delete it? I can't even flag my own answer to get it deleted. What do you do? If user asks for the answer to be deleted, then someone else may find the mistake and flag it for you. I can't guruantee this will work, but this will work best. A user who answered cannot delete the answer on his/her own. We just have to wait for someone else to flag the answer.

I have seen alot of questions rejected as duplicate that are not the same question as they are flagged as being. Are the moderators so bogged down with work that they just don't pay attention, Or do they just not care? This has been going on for the past several months now. It's not that they don't care, but rather it's the fact that the moderators have been having major trouble from here and there. I just managed to go about an hour and a half before I didn't have anyone answer or comment me. I think that lasted about 3 hours on AB when I was online. I remember that one time, I didn't receive any answers for comments in 3 days, but that was when I was offline after the day I was on Answerbag.

When my son plays his Yu-gi-oh game it keeps shutting off during play. He can turn it back on, but what is the problem? Here's what's going on. It's not the game that it's causing this, but rather the GBA or the SP. The main problem is your memory reader. If you tamper with the memory reader on the console, you may disrupt the gameplay program that functions seperatly. Without the proper functions, it will cause a shutdown on your game.

I dropped my GBA and now it won't turn on. None of the pieces inside are loose or broken. How can I fix this? It is actually the battery current that must have been tampered. It may not be receiving the power from the battery. This can be easily fixed by slightly moving the metal currents. If not possible, take it to a repair shop then.

Don't you hate how people downrate you without any explanation or opinion why they did so. High level AB's do this to! The "drive by" -1s make me laugh. The quick and easy -2s give me a chuckle. The straight -3s makes me wonder what did I put, and then laugh. The quiet -4s make me think, and then laugh. And those -5s? I don't get those anymore. I really missed those. It was funny to have those when Bob was here. =)

When I turn on my GBA (just a regular, GBA. NOT SP) the B button starts acting on its own. When I tap the A button, to open an menu for example, the B button jumps in and cancels the menu! I can't control it, so how do I fix it? Here's what happened. Something must have interferred with the B button that also reacts when the A button is pressed. The best solution is to try to do a double switch. Press both buttons to see if it might work. There must be something that is stuck or combined with it.

One of my buttons is messed up. You have to press it on the corner and with a bit of strength to get it to work. How can I fix this? There is probably a small object that must have been misplaced. You may just a need a small thin object to let loose of the object. You can do this without opening the GBA. When you press the button, try and see if you can get the item loose.

How the hell did I become the "expert" in Pakistan? I'm not from there and I've never been there. Perhaps a good reason is the recategorization of the questions. If you remember that you have never answered any questions about Pakistan, people may have flagged questions and were moved to Pakistan. The points are transferred, and of course, the highest point value in a specific category will earn you the title expert in the category.

The down and left buttons are jammed on my GBA. Every time I press up or right the game resets. How can I fix this without having to pay for Nintendo services? Perhaps you may have something jammed within the GBA. Check to see if there are any defects around that area. If there are any program effects that might affect your gameplay besides the resetting, you may need to replace the GBA.

I was fooling around with my Gameboy SP and the power button got bashed in. I opened it up and I found that the piece that the power switch is on broke off. Is there anyway to fix this? Uh oh. Something like that may need replacing. It might be difficult to have it repaired for that cause. If you find out that it will cost more to fix, then replacing may sound the best choice.

Before then, Answerbag started with the simple and main categories, along with the users' suggestions to expand the knowledge by adding more categories. We have already had a dozen or so "What are your new year resolutions?" type questions and it still is not NYE anywhere yet. I am going to flag all as duplicates and hit them all with -5. Anyone got a problem with that? (Bring on the trolls!) I don't why you should give a -5, but you can if you want to. I don't like to neg in these cases because it only affects your ratings while the question will be rejected. When questions are rejected, the stats will no longer be calculated into the totals. Has anyone else noticed the high increase in trolls? They are impersonating others and giving rude answers. Who knows maybe they are full at Yahoo. When someone steals someone else's avatar and name, because they didn't like the answers/points they were getting under another name, do you think the best route is to downrate/flag, or simply ignore them? I tend to go for ignoring them. My best choice is to actually report situations like these. I happened to end up in many situations where I was made fun of, and had my name, and avatar stolen. I sent the report to the staff. After that, the activity stopped for me.

You can actually suggest the category. You don't really need all the other people to know about it. It only takes just one person to suggest the category. A moderator will look at your suggest. In a short time, you should receive an e-mail saying if it was approved or rejected. Usually when reasonable, it might be approve, like the one you are suggesting.

I find I am not answering questions of more people lately..why? Because they do not acknowledge my response. Do you feel that way, or do you keep answering their questions regardless of the fact that you are ignored? I don't think I've had that problem before. How can I sort the adult questions outside of my displayed pages? Change my birthday date? There is still the problem with the adult questions that are on the main page of Answerbag. The staff has said that there was a program error within that, and that no adult questions should be posted on the front page unless you visit the portion of the site. The staff is currently working their way to fix the problem.

No one's fault..it's just the way it is. What do you think? I do believe that there is a time and place for everything. I think that everything has its own reasons to stand thereafter. What is more frightening? Fiction or non-fiction? I think that non-fiction novels seems more frighting. In non-fiction books, it seems more realistic and it usually happened in a time period, like WWII concentration camps. In fiction, the author can set the setting any way he/she wants it, but cannot replace for non-fiction or for real life.

What is the best way to leave Answerbag? You can just simply log off of Answerbag. However, if it's the addictiness that is causing to come back, you can do what Eli Lies did. You can ask the staff to P-Box you for a certain time. Just present your reasons, and they will understand. Eli wanted to be P-Boxed for a year to focus on himself. When you get thrown into the Penalty Box, you really can't do anything.

Can you object during opponents closing arguments? Technically, you cannot object during closing arguments. Although state court customs and laws may vary, a closing argument must be in silence, with full action. However, if a closing argument does tend to go out of hand, action may be taken. Usually, lawyers have to be careful what to say and what not to say during closing arguments.

They are just advertisements hoping to attract customers for higher profits. A few months ago, there was actually more advertising than before. People who are on the rush have the option of the Easy Go. They can quickly create accounts and just ask, without having to go with any trouble, unless they wish to stay.

Why do the spam emails I receive have dates that are yet to come? For example, I've received a spam mail dated January 8, 2008. What the hell are they thinking? Why would I believe such emails, when details as simple as dates are not even correct? Don't pay attention to those e-mails. They're usually just junk around the corner here and there. This term at first didn't apply in real life. What this means is usually trying something that will help you acheive that goal. A perfect example is taking a challenge. I calculate it to be 3 (http://www.answerbag.co.uk/a_view/1879033) but a CL says its 10 (http://www.answerbag.co.uk/q_view/474682) The Community Leader is right. You lose 10 points if your flags keep getting rejected and every so forth. The penalties come more often if you continue to flag unreasonably. I also had this as well. I lost 10 points once when I saw the e-mail.

If I misclick when trying to rate someone on AB up, accidentally hit the DR button, notice my mistake and correct it by clicking to give points instead, what shows up the person being rated? If you did click the negative rating by accident, and then click the positive rating, both ratings should show up. First, the negative rating, then the positive, assuming that you did this in order or vise versa.

If you could eat anything you wanted, and not have to worry about gaining weight/being unhealthy/inhumane, what would you totally pig out on? Junk food, pizza, snacks, and all the sweet stuff there could be. It just tastes sooo good! I'll take the pizza. =)

My Pokemon Crystal does not keep the time when I save. How can I restart it so it does work? Most probably it's the program itself that may be causing this kind of your problem. Part of the chip program may have been damaged, or that specific part may have been deleted. You really can't replace this on your own unless you buy another Pokemon Crystal.
