Forgiveness is a concept preached from the pulpits of many Christian churches yet so many who follow Christ find this concept hard to grasp. If Jesus could forgive those who crucified him Why can't many of us forgive those who did far less to hurt us?
In today's modern society, receiving forgiveness may seem farther away, and try to forgive someone is harder to do than once thought of.
When a person causes harm to another and asks for forgiveness, the harmed person may not think about forgiving first, and may feel insecure. Trust with the two people are lost, especially on the harmed person, where he/she thinks that he/she cannot be...

Then again, it makes sense in another way. Knowledge grows, and so do people. I don't see anything wrong answering your own unanswered questions.

Is a circle classed as a polygon? if not why? (it has infinite congruent sides, right?)
The only rule that a shape can be a polygon is when a shape is closed from all sides, regardless of the shape. If the circle is closed without any open sides, it is classified as a polygon.

In general, people won't probably mind changing your name, and some don't even care if you do. A disadvantage however is that changing your name changes your physical identity, meaning that it might become more difficult for others to recognize you at first.

I have already attempted to break 8 world records.
There were 5 that looked possible for me, but is rather impossible for me.
There were 2 that I attemmpted but failed by a long shot. At least I did make some progress.
There was 1 that I actually came out to be really close, but failed at the last moment.

The 2nd generation of Pokemon games (Gold, Silver, and Crystal) have an automatic feature which changes to daytime/nighttime at the 6:00 interval time, in both PM and AM.
This could be a very serious problem in the game. I would suggest to check your options menu in the game to see if there are any possible errors. If none exists, try resetting the time into a different time interval and...

I am playing pokemon emerald and fire red on my no$gba emulator and in certain caves, and other places it only shows smoke in the background, and i cant see the exit or borders in the background. What is going on with it?
It's your emulator that is actually the problem. Emulators can sometimes backfire on you, giving you graphic problems like this example. Emulators are not guaranteed in 100% graphic success.
The only way to prevent graphic problems in this case is to remove the emulator, and try on another console instead.

Why is there a limit on how many characters we can post in Question on AB?
Although it's nice more space to type our question, the question was limited in character input. Since we can only put 255 characters per question, it gives us enough space for our questions to be short, whether in general or specific. The limit was probably enforced so that question gets to the point, than rather having a question that goes on and on and on.

It is quite easy for me to do binary. I understand a bit of hexadecimal, but it could me a while to convert it.
Let me do a quick binary conversion.
Take the number 27.
Split the number, making it 2 and 7. I then use the code breaker 421.
In 2, there are zero 4s, one 2, and zero 1s. That makes it 010 or 10.
In 7, there are one 4s, one 2s, and one 1s. That makes it 111.

Answer to:
How many people are in a hockey team? How long is a period in a hockey game? How many periods are there in a hockey game?
The numbers vary on each team. Some teams have more players than others. Usually, it would consist of 4 lines, each with 5 men.
In the NHL, there is 20 minutes of game time in every period.
In a hockey game, there are 3 periods/intermission. Overtime and shootouts are applied if both teams time at the end of the 3rd period.

What was the most worthwhile item you've purchased under $100?
It is very cheap and inexpensive actually, probably less than $5.
I purchased a notebook a pack of pens. With that, I've started writing as my journal. Since I can't remember everything, my memories are stored. With some quick items, they have turned into a valuable memory book for me.

Answer to:
Why can't "outside the bag" questions be duplicated? Not exactly or redundantly, but just a different spin. Doesn't your pondering of what, why, and how vary over time, moods, phrasing, etc?
It's a bit difficult that some questions are not marked as duplicate and yet others are duplicates in outside the bag.
Sometimes, the question may not sound like a duplicate, and not those easy question, but rather thought provoking ones that we tend not to look forward as a duplicate.
Then again, I have seen many questions that have been rejected as a duplicate as well too....

Answer to:
Have you ever been able to get a decision reversed regarding the flagging of one of your questions?
I just had an either / or question flagged as being a duplicate of a question asking how.
Yes I have, and there was a question that was marked as a nonsense question. I wasn't sure why this question was rejected though. I sent some feedback to the staff, and in no time, the rejection was reversed.

Answer to:
What do you think of this idea? If the AB staff made recategorizing flags worth just 1 point while we maintain all the other flag values.
I would have to say that this is a good idea. If this were to happen, we would have less flagging on 'Wrong Category'. Users won't flag as much in moving categories from one to another. Yet, it does help when there are questions that are moved in an unspecific or wrong category.

According to this website, it says here that my house doesn't exist, nor my subdivision. =|
I doubt this may be an accurate website. I'm not saying it's a bad website, but sometimes, other factors nearby your home can affect your value of the home, and some websites are unable to catch it.

This could be the opportunity you wanted to look forward to. Since this is your dream job, then I'm sure that you'll be happy and not regret taking the job. Why let the opportunity pass?

Can you use wii games on a gamecube?
This is something I do not recommend you to do. The Nintendo Gamecube was designed for it's own CDs and games. If you put a Wii Game in the Gamecube, you're going to damage the CD or the Gamecube itself. The Gamecube was only designed to read smaller disks and not larger disks.

The lowest I've ever seen make it in the top 5 was a Lv. 15 Authority. The account started on Sunday, giving that user a full week to earn the points without resetting. The user made #5 in that week of June. Back then, you only needed around 1,500 points to make it in the Top 5 not as today though. I'm not sure where is user is now.

How do you unlock jigglypuff in ssbb?
Here's what you need to do.
Play 350 brawls.
Beat 20 or more Events after clearing The Subspace Emissary.
Pass through the hidden door in The Swamp area after completing The Subspace Emissary.
You only need to satisfy one of these conditions, and then beat Jigglypuff in a brawl to unlock the character.
Answer to:
What happens if two people flag a question, say, wrong category, and they both pick a category that better suits the question? Or if it's a dupe many times over and they both work?
If two or more flag one question as wrong category, the best category is selected if chosen differently. I would say that both users get the moderation points, since it's hard to realize these kinds of questions.
If two or more users flag it as a duplicate, and it is, it will be marked as a duplicate, and both users get the points for the flag of the question.

I doubt that you will be forbidden to rate, nor the ratings go at an negative percentage. The ratings follow on an average scale. In this case, you cannot have any negative percentage ratings.

Which browser works better with AB ? I understand it might also depend on a few other factors ... but in general which works better with AB ? I am currently using firefox (latest version) and it works ok with it . Although I hope for better performance .
I also use Firefox as my master browser. It works quite well and runs great. Sometimes however, it can run a bit slow because of the website speed. If the speed becomes too slow, then I use Safari on my Mac. The Safari browser actually gives more speed than Firefox, but I also have known that Safari usually crashes more than Firefox.

Are we allowed any recourse for an unfair Penalty Boxing or is this a totalitarian site where regular users have no say and are at the whim of the will of Community Leaders and AB staff members?
If you get sent in the Penalty Box, you can always ask for an appeal and explain why you do not deserve to be in the Penalty Box for that reason. If you can cope with the Administrators, they can release you from the Penalty Box before the expiration date.
Answer to:
Can a user be placed into the penalty box if they put defaming information about another user on their profile, no matter how indirect they attempt to make it?
It is actually unfair that someone would post such kind of information on another user. Discouragements like these should be limited instead. It's rather not nice to post defaming information on another user, and repeated uses or major infractions involving defaming information could be sent in the Penalty Box.

I know that I cannot agree with everything that I hear or say, but that is their opinion and I respect that. I still give points to those even if I disagree with the person. It's nice to hear from others even if I don't agree with what they are saying. I could learn something new from the user.

I think that it would be fine if they questions should not have an expiration date. It's nice to have the questions open for more answers.
However, there are some questions where they seem to be out of date. If a question like this seems out of date where something may have changed, then maybe having an expiration date may sound reasonable.

Is it worth listing the AB accounts created in the last couple of days and involved or linked with the recent spate of spamming? Its quite time consuming (but rewarding :-) to cross reference all the Q & A with each other...would it help ABstaff to delete
To me, I don't think it's not worth it at all. Usually, accounts that are rather just spamming get 'nuked' or completely deleted from Answerbag. Once it becomes 'nuked', the account is rather useless to use. The questions and answers in the account are deleted from the system, where they do not appear in public.
Maybe it would be nice to have a feature like that...

If a person answers a question, and after the question they post a link to promote another website, do you consider it spam? Even though they didn't refer to the link, in the answer, and answered the question correctly? Would you flag it?
Usually, it would have to depend on the situation. If this is only temporary and rather just that one answer only, I wouldn't consider it as spam. If they continue to promote another website over and over again repeatably, them that's when it should considered as spam.

Maybe I would think that it would be best to actually ignore the question. It is possible to have the question as long as you have the link set. When questions are deleted, they are deleted from the system, but anyone can access the question if they correct link. Maybe I would think best ifpeople would ignore the link and move on.

I've seen this happen on questions that were asked before. Those duplicates were actually downrated with some actually receiving negative points. How long do you think it will take for the trend of spammers on AB to understand that they will be blocked out quickly and they are wasting time?
Most spammers would rather spend their time trying to advertise as part of their jobs. Usually it may take a few accounts to actually realize that spending their time here may rather be a waste a time for them.

Was that spam storm started by an ABer who wanted loads of moderation points?
I highly doubt so on this case. Most of the advertisers to tend to get their advertisments on many websites as they can. I don't think I've haven't heard of cases like these. Spammers would try to risk their time for advertising.

I am sitting at a bar, watching sports, drinking a pitcher of beer and ABing. How cool is that! Where is the strangest place you have ever ABed?
Probably outside.
I sit outside during the days and nights ABing just outside my home. I have a powerful wireless keyboard and mouse that can be lasered through the windows to receive a connenction for the power to work on my computer. I also use a special windows inferance to widen the screen so that I can see what I'm doing with a better accuracy.
For right now, I'm inside.

My moderation indicates I have flagged either two questions or answers and I cannot remember any of them. Will it show up here if I flagged an answer as well? How can I track them down?
It's actually not possible to keep track of your moderation unless you write down the questions and the web domain number of the question in the address bar. You cannot access through moderation. It only counts your submissions on each flag on both questions and answers.

Answer to:
AB is designed to make money from adverts. So why do AB staff moderate out some questions that are legal, even if wacky, rather than sticking them in "outside the bag"? Surely more questions and answers makes more money?
Those advertisements that you see on the right are paid for. People who advertise through questions, answers, or comments, are actually commiting advertising without paying for it. That's why these questions should be rejected.
And according to the questions, Answerbag doesn't gain money by more questions or answers, but rather by the advertisements that are used.

Do you think AB could ever be a religion? If so, what would be the propose of joining?
As of one religion, I don't think so. Everyone is different, and have their own standards and behaviors of Answerbag. This is what makes it special, where the community spreads with knowledge, as every one of us expands our different knowledges.
Where there is religion, and conflicts may spark and ignite. Not everyone will think the same, or follow the same standards.

There has been alot of talk about being penalty boxed, but for what reasons do you get penalty boxed? How long does it last? And what actually happens when they pb you?
The Penalty Box is a place where the AB staff locks your account and you are unable to use the account. You can be in the Penalty Box for disobeying policies that includes attacking others, spamming, insults, avatar theft, trolling, and many other examples.
The time on Penalty Box will vary, to one day to months, and even more depending on the offense that you have committed.

Which are more rejected for being nonsense or spam/offensive, questions or answers? What could be the reason?
I would most likely have to go with the questions that are being flagged as either nonsense or spam/offensive. Usually people are introduced by the question first, and usually, they can find out if the question appropriate or not. Many are usually not aware of the answers that are being taken place there. Although answers are still flagged from time to time, the numbers are greater in flagging...

When someone flags a Wrong Category post, does Admin. have to go to the post and manually change it from an old category to the new one suggested or is it automatically re-categorized (assuming it was OK'd)?
When an Admin or a Moderator sees a wrong category flag being put, they first check the flag to see if it will be approved. If approved, then they must change the question into the new category, just like the other flags that apply as well too. I'm sure that it would be nice to have a program or something automatic where flags can be sent through a program or a machine.

After looking at your questions, they seem valid to me here. Sometimes, you can't get every answer to a question. Sometimes, a member who can help answer the question may not be here at this time. Other reasons can include laziness, deep thinking of questions, and many others.
Don't worry, I'll help you out on a part on this.

When a question gets flagged as a duplicate, then gets moved, do you think the points should be carried over to the originator aswell? (I noticed that 161 answers were on a good duplicate with 32 points)
I may have to think that sounds like a good idea to me. The person who asked the original question should be the one receiving credit, or at least partial credit, and it feels like copying if someone asks the same question.

Instead of getting flagged, should ABers have a warning email sent to them to edit their question or answer?
I don't think so, and here's why.
When someone posts a question or answer, the user who has sent a post is the one responsible for whatever content may be displayed. The user should be aware of any nonsense, or offensive content, should not be displayed. And that's where the moderation flags come in, to delete the content.
Of course, you can still edit your answer at...

My gameboy advace wont save any of my games that i play it started out with just one game not saving but now none of my games will save. Do you know of any ways to fix this?
There could be two problems.
The first one may involve that the reader on the GBA may not respond correctly or to its functions. This can be correctly solved by cleaning the reader.
The second problem is that there could be physical damage that might have tampered the GBA programming system/machine. To fix that is to best replace that.

I don't why are those kinds of questions are getting rejected. They should be marked as a duplicate. Whenever I see these kinds of cases, the flags are approved when this happens.
However, I did receive rejected flags from duplicates, because they were not exactly worded as the other questions. Other than that, the flags were going in. You might want to check up with the staff about it.

Please don't DR me for this but, can you name one good reason to have a Sockpuppet account? Why or why not?
There are several good reasons why some people have more than one account. Of course, most of their reasons are different from others.
I have two other accounts. I wouldn't call them sockpuppets, but rather backup accounts. The main reason why I have two accounts is because of the widgets that I use on Answerbag. I found out that one account was not going to support my widgets needed....

What does Answerbag look like to a user whose account has been penalty boxed? Could you post screenshots?
There's nothing really special. It doesn't take you to another website or anywhere else. It just locks your account from asking, answering, commenting, and moderating.
Here are some screenshots when I was thrown in the Penalty Box in June.
The first picture shows that the answer and comment bar are missing.
The second picture shows that I cannot rate or moderate the question....

How come my moderation percentage has gone down? i only ever moderate dupes, so that shouldnt make it go down??? (still a bit new with this technical side of things)
Sometimes, the moderation doesn't fully kick in. Other times, some flags are not yet received. You might want to check your e-mail to see if there are any moderation flags that were not approved that could be the cause as well.

Answer to:
Why is the system so slow when you try to flag an answer if you are flagging repeatedly from a chronic offenders home page? (ie a spammer whose every ? is spam)? Does the answer have to reload all the ad material before you can scroll and flag?
If you are opening another web page, it has to reload. The same applies on your internet browser there as well.
I don't think I've had problems with moderation speed. Maybe it would be nice if there was a faster feature for moderation.

How do the moderators work on AB (I mean physically)? Are they 24/7 or what? I've had responses late a night sometimes. Do they monitor the whole flow in information passing through the system or just when something is brought to their attention?
The moderators don't work 24/7, nor does the staff, but basically tries their best in the moderation systems.

Answer to:
If I see an obvious spammer do I have to flag each question individually..or can I collect multiple points by just sending in a covering report? The points aren't that important..it just seems so inefficient to go through say 50 answers and flag each one.
What's actually best is not to flag the spam answers in the first place. Although it may restore your moderation percentage, you really are not going to receive the points for this. For these cases, these flags would not actually count for points, just for your percentage.

If you type your comment into a new answer by mistake is there anyway to delete it? I can't even flag my own answer to get it deleted. What do you do?
If user asks for the answer to be deleted, then someone else may find the mistake and flag it for you. I can't guruantee this will work, but this will work best.
A user who answered cannot delete the answer on his/her own. We just have to wait for someone else to flag the answer.

Why do so many people post their questions in the default category of "Answerbag Questions" instead of taking the time to choose the proper category? Do they not realize that this just makes mods have to waste time with extra category flags?
There are a couple reasons.
1.Some people are just too lazy to put them.
2.Some are on the fast pace and just put the category as if it were the default section.
3.Others put the AB category so that others could flag it and receive free moderation points.
Of course, there are many questions that are usually placed on the AB category that are not AB related. From many of the reasons that...

I have seen alot of questions rejected as duplicate that are not the same question as they are flagged as being. Are the moderators so bogged down with work that they just don't pay attention, Or do they just not care?
This has been going on for the past several months now. It's not that they don't care, but rather it's the fact that the moderators have been having major trouble from here and there. From the hundreds and sometimes thousands that the moderators receive everyday, it's hard for them to sometimes recognize the flagging process, especially when it comes to the duplicates....

Answer to:

Answer to:
When my son plays his Yu-gi-oh game it keeps shutting off during play. He can turn it back on, but what is the problem?
Here's what's going on.
It's not the game that it's causing this, but rather the GBA or the SP. The main problem is your memory reader. If you tamper with the memory reader on the console, you may disrupt the gameplay program that functions seperatly. Without the proper functions, it will cause a shutdown on your game.
Answer to:
I dropped my GBA and now it won't turn on. None of the pieces inside are loose or broken. How can I fix this?
It is actually the battery current that must have been tampered. It may not be receiving the power from the battery. This can be easily fixed by slightly moving the metal currents. If not possible, take it to a repair shop then.

When I turn on my GBA (just a regular, GBA. NOT SP) the B button starts acting on its own. When I tap the A button, to open an menu for example, the B button jumps in and cancels the menu! I can't control it, so how do I fix it?
Here's what happened. Something must have interferred with the B button that also reacts when the A button is pressed. The best solution is to try to do a double switch. Press both buttons to see if it might work. There must be something that is stuck or combined with it.

One of my buttons is messed up. You have to press it on the corner and with a bit of strength to get it to work. How can I fix this?
There is probably a small object that must have been misplaced. You may just a need a small thin object to let loose of the object. You can do this without opening the GBA. When you press the button, try and see if you can get the item loose.

How the hell did I become the "expert" in Pakistan? I'm not from there and I've never been there.
Perhaps a good reason is the recategorization of the questions. If you remember that you have never answered any questions about Pakistan, people may have flagged questions and were moved to Pakistan. The points are transferred, and of course, the highest point value in a specific category will earn you the title expert in the category.

Perhaps you may have something jammed within the GBA. Check to see if there are any defects around that area. If there are any program effects that might affect your gameplay besides the resetting, you may need to replace the GBA.

We first learn each other and who the person is, what their customs are, and so on. We talk to each other, even through e-mail, chat, and many other forms of communication. We're not robots or programs that ask to be friends.

I find I am not answering questions of more people lately..why? Because they do not acknowledge my response. Do you feel that way, or do you keep answering their questions regardless of the fact that you are ignored?
I don't think I've had that problem before. I just answer questions whenever I feel like it, or when there's a need to do it. I know that sometimes, you may get acknowledged, but that's okay for me. Sometimes, I even get negged for this as well. I just learned to deal with it and move on.

I do believe that there is a time and place for everything. I think that everything has its own reasons to stand thereafter. Sometimes, it could be someone's fault, while other times, it's just unexplainable for the situation. It just comes and goes.

What is more frightening? Fiction or non-fiction?
I think that non-fiction novels seems more frighting. In non-fiction books, it seems more realistic and it usually happened in a time period, like WWII concentration camps. In fiction, the author can set the setting any way he/she wants it, but cannot replace for non-fiction or for real life.

Can you object during opponents closing arguments?
Technically, you cannot object during closing arguments. Although state court customs and laws may vary, a closing argument must be in silence, with full action. However, if a closing argument does tend to go out of hand, action may be taken. Usually, lawyers have to be careful what to say and what not to say during closing arguments.

If practice makes perfect and no one is perfect then why practice?
This term was actually used not for perfection, but rather to learn and/or master a skill. This term at first didn't apply in real life.
What this means is usually trying something that will help you acheive that goal. A perfect example is taking a challenge. Practice and practice to complete the challenge. It was said that completion was the perfectness.

Whether you get 5 or extra 5 or even 15 points for moderation, why is the total points acquired through moderation is not a multiple of 5?
I don't think I've never seen this before. Every profile that I've seen has a point multiple of 5, whether a 0 or a 5. Can you show me an example if you've seen one?

How do you keep track of AB friends if they don't have email adresses and don't ask questions?
Usually I would comment on some of their older answers. If they haven't changed their preferences, then hopefully I can receive a response from them. Works sometimes, and other times, it doesn't.

Does all kind of moderation gives you 5 points at all levels?
Technically, you are supposed to receive 5 points for every approved moderation flag, regardless of level and whether the flag was either a question or an answer.
In some other cases, some flags sometimes do give more than 5 points. It usually gives an extra 5 more, or even a 15 point set per flag. In my moderation, I have 7818 flags. By points, it should be 39090 points, but actually, it...

March 24- Signed up for Answerbag.
April 23- Surgery, laid back for almost 3 weeks without AB.

My Pokemon Crystal does not keep the time when I save. How can I restart it so it does work?
Most probably it's the program itself that may be causing this kind of your problem. Part of the chip program may have been damaged, or that specific part may have been deleted. You really can't replace this on your own unless you buy another Pokemon Crystal.

Danger, you really cannot be asking for points. It is against the Answerbag Policy to ask for points. If you continue on this, you may be enforced with a Penalty.
Answer to:
Is there always a winner and a loser?
Not all the time. Sometimes, there could be a draw game, where there is no winner and no loser.
Other times, there could be winners and no losers.
And there is also when there are no winners, and only losers.

What is an "Answerbag Widget"? Sorry for the ignorance I'm just curious.
It looks like you may not be familiar with widgets. The widgets are great tools to help customize your home page on the web browser, making faster and another way to contact with AB. Right now, I currently have the Google widget on my Mac, along with the dashboard status. The widget can search, see the latest Q&A, a mini set-AB profile with your latest Q&A, and more!

When you apply for a job through email, do you send your resume as an attachment, or as part of the main letter? Assume that there's no specific instruction in the ad.
I've actually applied online for a C++ job that they are offering while I was being trained. Assuming that there are not specific instructions, I don't send the resume by e-mail unless instructed or required. Otherwise, I do it by person.

How do you catch Mew in Pokemon Fire Red?
Let me make this perfectly clear.
You cannot catch a Mew in Pokemon FireRed. The graphic editors and programmers did not program to have a Mew in either FireRed or Leafgreen, but only the program which you can use Action Replay, or the Nintendo Events.
You can catch a Mew in Red Version, the 1st Generation, using the MISSINGMEW# glitch, which appears at level 7.
Otherwise, any other...

Hey I need some help I started to play pokemon silver and gold for the gamedoy advance. I try saving the game but it always erases when i turn it on does anybody noe wat should I do?
Uh-oh, that actually sounds like the data in the game may be corrupted. The program may not function correctly with the data corruption. Your game may be giving out, or it can also be the data involved in the GBA.
Another case can also be the recall. In 2001, around 50,000 Pokemon Silver and 75,0000 Pokemon Gold video game copies were recalled due to data corruption.

How do you catch a Lapras in Pokemon Silver?
What is it that your are having trouble with? Can't find the Lapras? Too hard to catch it? Simple.
Go to Azela Town and into the Union Cave. You should surf to the bottom of the cave. In a short time, you should see the Lapras at Lv. 20. You can use the Masterball for it if you've made copies, or use the Net Balls as well.
