What would a fine artist major and minor in?
It depends on it you are an artist wanting to create art, or if you are wanting to study music or art to later perform or teach them.
If you want to create art, you'd take studio art, design, painting, drawing and classes like that.
If you want to teach art: Same things as above, plus art education, teaching classes, art history, etc. you have to throw in the teaching things heavily...

No. I really wonder whether even do it since people cannot buy the drugs without a prescription from their doctor. In addition, they also list all kinds of possible side effects that are very scary. I think it is stupid and wish they would get pulled.

I have both and intend to keep one land line There are times when the cel cannot get a signal, or a battery might be dead, or it might get lost or broken. The land line is dependable and not much a month at all.
Plus with the land line I don't get dropped calls in town or long distance, and I get unlimited long distance calls ANY TIME day or night 7 days a week for only $20. a month....

If you mean when you text message, the settings for that would be in Tools or Settings for texting. If it is in looking up names, that is built into many phones. Not sure you can take that out, but it actually speeds things up when searching for a name to dial.

I don't think the leaderboard shows anything more than who has the time and also the ability to ask and answer alot of questions in a given week. I was on it once. I just had alot of time on my hands and I got pretty good points.
So, I don't think your question assuming women are inherently more "gifted" in answering questions is valid. Some of the best question askers...

The question has two appearance related choices and one (bold) that makes no sense to me at all. So I will say bold, since I prefer not to be fat nor ugly, and if I am bold I have the chance of also being intelligent and successful, even with average looks and weight.

Why fight or run and risk getting killed, or a worse sentence? If I did something that serious, even if it was on impulse or in a rage or temporary insanity, I'd call my attorney or the best attorney I could find, and have them take me in safely. Then we could see what kind of help I got from there. If I truly did not do it I would trust the attorney to prove that and that's the best...

If counseling had been tried and it was an ongoing thing, it's no better than (and sometimes worse) physical abuse. The kids pick up on it and it traumatizes them when they are young, and when they are older they think it is normal or OK...at least it confuses them.
Definitely a deal breaker in a marriage if it goes on for long at all, kids or NO kids, IMO.

It depends on how shallow the girl is about how somebody looks. She ought to be more concerned with the guy's personality, if he is a nice guy, good sense of humor, somewhat intelligent and if he is a kind, fun, respectful, decent guy.

I'm having a new refrigerator delivered tomorrow. How long does it take for the new one (18.2 cu ft) to cool down enough so I can transfer food? I don't want alot of my food to spoil & my old refrig. is being hauled off! What would you suggest? Help?
Also, somebody told me not to plug it in right away - to wait 30-45 minutes for the coolant to settle or I could ruin it! I can't believe that. Anyone who knows about this stuff I sure could use some help.
The store I bought it from is useless. All they wanted to do is sell it. Many thanks to any who help with constructive answers. I never had to do this before so I don't know...

I don't think so. I have seen it done and had it done and with most people they either pass out from the pain (from things like wooden splinters or the tip of a very thin knife blade under the fingernails) or they lie when they do tell things if they are trained correctly.

Self harm is only a distraction for a short time to get rid of emotions. After reality sets in things are worse and the person who self harms will only feel worse physically and emotionally. It is counter productive to whatever the real problems are.
Also, I noticed your username. As long as you identify yourself as a cutter or person who does "self harm," that also will keep you...

Of course they can, but it will not solve the problem - they only cover up the symptoms (usually). What you are talking about used to be called a "resonator" that just fit over the end of the pipe. They can make a car exhaust sound abit deeper or throaty, but if you really want something that really affects both sound and performance you need a performance exhaust or exhaust system.

If you want to risk them giving you a negative feedback because you are cheating them and they find out, say nothing. Personally it would not be worth it to me. If you want the item keep it and tell them it DID arrive. If you don't want it, send it back and keep the refund.

No. Some people have handicaps that have absolutely nothing to do with how their legs work. They could have heart issues or other problems that make them just as disabled or handicapped as someone else - it just does not show in the way they walk.
I think you are stereotyping handicapped to mean someone who walks or cannot get around easily. There are many other types of physical handicaps...

Seriously, this is a brand new problem, im 31 yrs old, and my right armpit has started to sweat for no reason. im not hot, i wear antipersperant/deodorant every day,and have tried new and different ones recentley. still happening, what could it be?
it could be several things. I would suggest rather than having us non-experts guess, you make an appointment with either your doctor or a GP or internal medicine doctor, or a dermatologist. It could be the sweat gland, a hormonal type of thing, or something else.

What's the longest time you/your family have ever been without electricity, due to storm, fire, or other problem? If it went beyond several hours, what did you do to eat, store food, etc? **How did you work around not having such a BASIC necessity?**
About 24 hours in Winter, with outside temperatures from 10-20 degrees. The house got down to about 45 degrees by the time power was restored.
I had no place to go really and all the hotels and motels close by were booked. So I just toughed it out and used my sleeping bag and ate cold and pre-prepared foods.

The Tv show Studio 60, what's your take? Will it survive to return next season and why or why not?
I kind of like it. It's sort of like Improv or what "Second City TV" was back many years ago -- where many famous comics today got their start.
I think it is a good and funny show similar to "Whose Line Is It Anyway" with Drew Carey which was also an improvisational type show but with the same cast most of the time.

My mom always says, "you get old too soon and smart too late." What does this mean to you?
It means we learn our lessons and gain our "street smarts" about life by making mistakes over the course of many years. And it is too bad we can't be that smart by age 21, but it seems it is a slow almost life long learning lesson -- and when we have become pretty wise (most people anyhow) much of our life where more knowledge would have been very helpful, is over.
Good question!

What sort of charges could a person who is found on an active crime scene be charged with? (i.e. a person who has deliberately bypassed the tape and signs warning them to stay out.)
Obstruction of justice, crime scene tampering, criminal trespass, and whatever else the police might decide to charge onto the person. It is totally stupid to go into a taped off area, and can badly compromise a crime scene and even make the person trespassing on it become a P.O.I. or a suspect in some cases.

The only disadvantages I know of would be:
1. You get someone who is not qualified or very good, which can happen in any profession.

What is it about bullet wounds that makes them so deadly?
Well it depends on where you get hit!
But they can be much more dangerous than a knife wound or other wounds for these reasons:
1. Bullet travels very fast and upon hitting bone or tissue/organs, etc. it expands often, causing more injury.
2. Bullets can "bounce around" in the body once a person gets hit. You can get hit in the back for example, and the bullet can bounce off...

It could be a viral infection in which case many times they will not show up on most commonly ordered blood panels.

On country roads and in a farm field when I was about age 10-12 my father taught me somewhat, then he let me steer with one hand on side roads in the country that were deserted. then he let me drive short distances at about age 13-14, again in the country where there were no police nearby.

Yes. With a waiting period to check the person out well, which not all states have as a law. Others in another profession, can do something that to them is easy and doesn't take a long time, and charge alot per job or per hour for their "work."
I personally have always loved what I do, and I work fairly...

Who are the greatest harmonizers of all time?
Old groups are the ones I liked - Beach Boys, Everly Brothers, Chad and Jeremy, Crosby Stills, Nash & Young, and Peter, Paul & Mary.
Most of the songs were fairly slow, but they harmonized well on the slow songs and the fast songs. Now they are probably seen as "square" and really old fashioned, but they set the stage for alot of things that happened in later years. Some of...

We did the usual finger painting, crayolas, We also cut out things with blunt edge scissors, made things with clay and Plaster of Paris, and did things with construction paper and that old white safe "paste glue."
I still can kind of remember the smells of the paints and glue and clay.

He didn't show anything other than on the slow song "Besame mucho" that he had "relative pitch" and could stay in tune with the orchestra pretty well. Most of his other performances have been very poor, pitchy and weak.

With dream analysis, what does it mean to dream about your pet being injured because of something you did?
Animals can also represent habits. The more fierce the animal the more difficult or severe the habit. You might have intentions on working to quit a bad habit which would be the "injured animal" in your dream.
If it makes sense, think about your habits.

Are drug companies inventing syndromes/illnesses to sell product, e.g., had you ever heard of "restless leg syndrome" before there was a medicine for it?
Restless Leg Syndrome has been around sure. My ex wife had it actually. Drove me nuts and kept me awake. Finally we slept in separate beds (a blessing lol).
Back then not the better drugs to treat it as they have now. But it is real, and it can ruin a persons ability to sleep or sleep well.

I don't care whether Sanjaya is gay, straight or trisexual. He cannot sing nearly as well as some who have left (he picked a slow easy song last week). All I care about and know is he doesn't belong in the finals for sure, and should long ago have been booted.

We're gonna get hammered with a foot or more of snow tonight and Sunday. Anybody else having a bad weather weekend?
Sorry. We had a winter that was very bad, now it is over and lovely and unfortunately the East coast is going to get hit hard by a late Spring storm.
It will melt soon is the good news. Just prepare for the water and snow and you'll be fine. It will soon pass out to sea.

What can a diabeted take or do to take away the chills. The heat is on high and she is covered up with a blanket.
Are they ill? If the person is diabetic, they have to be very careful of temperature extremes, in particular heat. It burns up glucose and can lower their blood sugar. Also, if they have ANY problems with circulation or feeling sensations in their legs or feet, a hot bath is not recommended, as it could burn them unless someone else tests the water.
If they are hungry, warm fluids or soups...

If he was alone, and not many people around, I might stop and say hello and shake his hand. I would not stop him unless I thought it was in a way that he would not get swamped with other people clamoring for autographs.

I would stay out of it. You can tell him you do not approve or like it, but I think if you go to your mother you will be causing alot of trouble and also putting your relationship with your father in jeopardy.
If and when your mother finds out, she can deal with your father as she sees fit. I don't think it your responsibility to "enlighten" her on this.

My ex/wife and i get together at least once a week for sex, she has a guy in her life and says they're just friends. am i being used or does she still have feelings?
Wake up mister. You are being used just like if you did the same thing to her while you had another woman in your life. I think you knew the question perhaps before you asked it. She "has feelings" sure - for what you can give her sexually. But that is hardly the basis for a relationship of any depth.

Well, I wouldn't write that to her or she wont be able to understand it. But I'd say anyone who is like that is not someone I would want as a friend (or an enemy).
I think your anger is throwing off your spelling. Find a new friend and move on. It will happen a few times in your lifetime. Get used to it.

Get to the cause, which is drainage from your nose or in your throat. If you have an allergy, take antihistamines as prescribed by a doctor.

One thing that can make temperatures lower is a virus. As long as you feel healthy otherwise, I wouldn't worry about it. You can track it for another week or so, but unless it goes lower, I wouldn't be concerned. If you are concerned, just put a call into your doctor or go to a walk-in clinic for reassurance.

An extremely experienced ER doc, and private doc has been beaten for years by her husband. A few nights ago he beat her to a horrible degree, then started beating her son, so she shot and killed him. Justified or not?
Justified, and I am betting when it goes to court because of her past abuse and her worry about her son's life, it will be called justifiable homicide, or at worst 3rd degree murder, and she would get a suspended sentence, no sentence or probation maybe.

Is there a food or drink that can neutralize the smelliness of urine after eating asparagus?
Try parsley. But eat it WITH the asparagus. Otherwise nothing can get through your body fast enough if you have already eaten the asparagus! You need to eat something WITH it that has alot of chlorophyll in it like parsley. Anyhow, it's not THAT bad for that long if you drink enough water to flush it out.

if they get away with it and see/hear it at home, they will do it other places. It goes back to who is raising them, and what values and role modeling they are getting in the home.
What they think or see is OK at home they will of course think and feel is OK to do with other people in other places.

Not picky, (much) but have always preferred women with about a C cup breast size-wise. And they have tended to have medium sized areola - the size of a quarter or abit more. That is usually due to allergies or a build up of ear wax. Try an antihistamine over the counter like Benadryl, especially if you know you have allergies. If this does not work, see your doctor. Be sure and take only the recommended dosage, as it can make you sleepy and has other side effects.

If it says Swiss Made it is not an antique. Maybe 75-85 years or so old or less. .935 is the amount of silver -- 935 parts pure out of 1000. Which is fair quality "sterling silver" equivilant, which is often 950-975/1000. Without a good photo of the watch I cannot be 100% sure, but I would guess it is from the 1920-40 time period.

If they are a celebrity NOW, I am not so sure they will regret much of what might have helped them get to where they are today.

Do you feel pity or admiration for someone who stays in a relationship/marriage after they discover that their partner/spouse has cheated?
Good evening PP: Well, if they have resolved things and the relationship is HEALTHY, to where there is little chance of it happening again, I admire them both if they are going to try to work it out.
If the person cheats again however, I would feel neither pity nor admiration if the person who was cheated on did not file for divorce and separate from the cheater as fast as they could....

Then you can sell to a dealer (who will buy wholesale of course) or place an ad in your local paper (expensive) or put them in a good, reputable auction where they sell good coins and art and other similar collectibles and hope for the best. They are not as liquid as many other things.

Is most emotionally-based depression caused by repressed anger? In other words, is depression actually anger turned inside out?
If by "emotionally based" you mean reactive depression for example, then it is a normal response to losses, the death of a job, a person or other losses. Some people exhibit it as being very sad and outwardly being very emotional and grieving. Others who might by pattern over their lives, exhibit this more internally, so they feel it deeply but do not exhibit it by crying on the...

Nothing. I am sure many people will continue to use Windows XP, just as some still use other versions of Windows. From what I read I have until January 2009 before they do not support Windows XP. Long before then I will switch to Vista, after most of the bugs have been worked out.
I have anti virus, anti spyware, and anti adware. Until then I will be happy and safe.

What are the best remedies for low back pain?
If it is severe, see your doctor or go to an ER since it could also be a kidney stone or something like a disc problem.
If it is not severe, an ice pack on the aching area, while lying down will make inflamed nerves and tissues cool down, and the pain will lessen. Apply the ice or gel ice pack for 15-20 minutes only on the back with a towel in between the ice pack and your skin, every 2-3...

If not, and you have done Pilates by machine before, try it if you can afford to return it. Just be sure to ask them what the shipping charges back are ahead so you won't get a bad surprise!

How long after purchasing a car does it take to ship from one dealership to the next? (total of about 650 miles...)
They drive them, so it depends on how sharp the dealers are on both ends, and also the weather in some cases. It should be within a week certainly if they are both on the ball.
Many times they hire someone to drive the car to them versus using a large truck, so it can get there in 2-3 days easily.

Yes, if you have a very good cognitive therapist who is a specialist in treating them (you can also do it on your own with tapes and a good study course but it takes longer) over time.
Panic disorder is a learned behavior-response. It can be "un-learned." But it takes persistence and help and support and time. It is worth it from what I hear however to be rid of them!

See a doctor! It could be low potassium or it could be other more serious things dealing with venous or arterial insufficiency or occlusions in those veins or arteries leading to the legs.
It is not something to try and self diagnose or self treat. Only a doctor can assess what your problem is and tell you how to treat it the safe and proper way.

Other than hanging up, what lines or techniques do you use to get rid of a telemarketer?
It's simple from before you even answer the phone. Have caller ID and do not accept calls if you don't know the number that is calling and/or the name. It's real simple. If it is serious, they will leave a message and you can chose to call them back or not right away.

Answer to:
If you met someone over the internet, would you send them a picture of yourself if they asked you to?
It would depend entirely on where I met them and how much I knew about them over some time. Also, it would depend on what I had told them to date about myself.
Answer to:
Can I trust Ebay sellers?
Check their feedback. If it is 99% positive or above, and they don't have any negatives for the past 6 months or so (unless they sell 5,000 items a month) they are probably OK. If they have negative feedback, read what it says.
If any negatives in the past month, I would try someone else. Use a credit card and you can always do a "charge back" if they are dishonest with you...

My wife and I are going threw a divorce. After a year in the house she left the house, without a court order saying she could stay or had to leave. She didn't pay the mortgage for the last to months. Could this be abandoment of the house. Thanks
Who signed the loan papers for the home? If she is on it and only if she is on it, she could be liable for her share of the payments after the divorce or maybe her wages could be garnished for that (ask an attorney). If she fails to pay her share (assuming that was the agreement and she co-signed on the loan) then you can ask for her share she failed to pay be taken out of the proceeds if you...

Answer to:
Why is it that men cannot urinate when someone's looking?
I can do it if it I have to go badly enough. The only time I might have trouble is if I have held it too long (painful) or if the person is distracting me or I am somehow not comfortable with them.

What did you do today to change the world?
I did laundry with very biodegradable and friendly "natural" type of soap. I also walked to the store instead of driving. And I have not so far committed any crimes today that would impact anyone or cost taxpayers any money.

Answer to:
When some people run a lot, their ribs hurt very badly. Do you know why?
It's called a "stitch."
A stitch is just a sharp pain felt in your side just under your ribs. It is usually felt while running. It's is not clear what the cause is of a stitch. Some think that maybe the pain in the side is a result of inadequate oxygen to the diaphragm and also to the the muscles between the ribs.
It is harmless, but still a real pain!

Answer to:
What is the best way to show someone that you love them?
To tell them verbally I think is truly best. If I wanted to show them I suppose it would be to do something for them that I knew would be very, very special to them and that took effort and real planning on my part.
But it is hard to beat looking someone in the eyes and in all sincerity and with in a very loving voice, simply saying, "I love you very much."

When you get a feeling that you are dead bored, what do you do? Cause i am bored like nothing before and my friends are all busy.
Someone I really admired as a genius once told me that we bore ourselves. Nothing and nobody else is responsible. So if I am bored I try to figure out why and do something about it.
That usually means doing a different activity, changing the scenery, or whatever it takes to get in a different frame of mind.
