Reverse all of Obama, Pelosi, and Reids policies. Retract as much of the "stimulus package" as possible. Decreased. Christians are not included under the political correctness umbrella. They are open game for the haters. Lyndon Johnson was a renowned racist. He helped gut the original civil rights bill in 1957 as a Senator. He only signed the bill in 1964 for political expediency. He was barely able to convince enough Democrats in Congress to pass the bill. A higher percentage of Republicans voted for the Civil Rights Act of 1964 than did Democrats.

Not much reason to watch CNN any more. I'm sure Dobbs will do fine. He is a very intelligent, patriotic man with high morals and good values. He represents what America used to stand for. I have no idea what he will wind up doing but I'm sure he will be successful in some venture. My best guess is he is a future Senator from New Jersey.

Unions...important and effective, or a burden to business and the economy?
Good when they started, have become corrupt over time. They have actually become a cancer in America with more interest in ideology, power, and greed at the top than interest in the working folks at the bottom. The auto workers unions killed the goose that laid the golden eggs. The industries with the biggest problems..automobile...airline...teachers all controlled by unions, not a coincidence.

How did Obama get pegged for "his health care plan" when it is congress that writes bills? everybody forget basic government classes?
I've been wondering that myself. In fact, if President Obama holds to the campaign promise he stated repeatedly and with emphasis he would have to veto the current house bill or the senate bill as both contain tax increases for the middle class and poor. He said emphatically that there would "not be one more dime" of taxes for the middle class or the poor.

The political correctness promoted by many of those same Congressmen, and the President, are largely to blame for these murders. No, they should not be investigating themselves. They should be apologizing for their liability and worried that the American people will hold them accountable.

Then came MLK and due to the pressure his movement put on the Democrats it was finally passed, with a larger % of Republicans voting for it...

Are the Democrats and the Republicans really all that different?
Well, this is a starting point. It says a lot. Democrats are for the most part liberals/progressives. They have an elitist attitude. They think they are smarter than everybody else. Conservatives believe each person should be left to their own will, that all people are equal, no matter their background. Conservatives promote the rights and liberties of the individual. Democrats believe the...

Why, a scant week after Obama's speech ended, public support of his health care reform had quickly eroded back down to 42%.
Why do most Americans oppose the Democrats health care proposals?
America was founded and has thrived on liberty, meaning individual freedom. Nothing happens in a vacuum. Any power the government takes means less liberty for the individual. This is the basic founding principle of America. Obama does not get this. He does not understand the fundamentals of his nation, it's founders intent and so he ignores the Constitution, as do all liberals. They...

Terrorists take over airplane and fly it into high rise building. Oops, we can't call them terrorists anymore, Obama said so. No such thing as terrorist attack, Obama said so. We are now to call it a *man made catastrophe*, Obama said so. Let's just pretend all bad things don't really happen, like Obama says. No problem, no delays, all good.

Can hatred ever be more powerful than love?
I don't think so. Here is my reasoning.
Goodness wins over evil.
God is more powerful than Judas.
I think love, kindness, goodness, and compassion always win over of hate, contempt, bigotry, and cruelty in the long run because the former are more prevalent in the hearts and minds of people as a whole than the latter.

What is the relationship between economic growth and the capital gains tax rate?
John Kennedy knew. He said "The tax on capital gains directly affects investment decisions, the mobility and flow of risk capital... the ease or difficulty experienced by new ventures in obtaining capital, and thereby the strength and potential for growth in the economy."
Barack Obama needs to be made to write this on the chalkboard 1000 times.

What is one thing you should always consider doing at a restaurant?
Be respectful and courteous to your server. I see people who treat them like somehow they are a lower life form. They are your server, NOT your personal servant! Also, I agree with Moongrim, tip your server appropriately according to their service. If you can afford to go out to a restaurant you can afford to tip. Think of it as part of the expense of the meal.

To some degree it's true. Today's economic turndown in much worse due to Obama and the media trying to instill fear in order to get elected and advance their political agenda.

What are things most or all women dislike the most about a guy?
I think, from experience, that women are most put off by shallowness. If a man is truly interested in a lady he must expose his heart to her. It is a risk, but that is what it takes. The gamble is that she will reject it and that exposed heart will be broken. A man must decide if that potential pain is worth exposing his heart. If he truly desires her in more than a sexual way it is an easy...

Why is "earmarks" such a dirty word? It is the job of congressmen to advocate for their constituents and bring prosperity/jobs to their states. Each "earmark" puts people to work. I think "lobbying" should be outlawed, not earmarks. What do you think?
The problem with earmarks is that they are most often added to a bill that is seen as likely to pass late in the process. Many do not have the merit to stand up to debate on their own. They are snuck in late, or buried in a huge bill. They are also often used as payback for political supporters, not designed to benefit the community as a whole. Overall they are wasteful and sinister in their...

Why has the stock market completely tanked since Obama took office?
Investors are not stupid, most of them did not get rich by being lucky or cheating the system as the Democrats try to make out. They know what works and what doesn't. As soon as it was apparent that Obama would likely be elected those with money started putting it places where it would be damaged least by his anti-business, growth killing, job-killing, free-spending, socialist agenda...

Usually the cover, including front and back tells you pretty much all you need to know about a book in the literal sense (pun intended), and if you judge it to be good you can't wait to read what is inside.
In the figurative sense, regarding people, the cover cannot tell you what is inside, you have to find out.

And WHY isn't America using Fair Tax? is there any bad side to Fair Tax?
It makes too much sense and would take away most of the power and control beauracrats have over the people. It's a great idea but it will unlikely never be adopted for this reason. Government officials love power, and will not allow it to be taken away, even if it is for the good of the people.

Rush Limbaugh is neither hateful nor ignorant as anyone who actually listens to him knows. He is one of the great thinkers of our time.

Barack does an incredible job preaching against the word "communism" while at the same time embracing so many of its principles. Does anyone know what his definition of communism is?
The crux of it is that with communism, a select group of elites control every aspect of life. They control who grows the food, who gets to eat that food, and who has to starve. Ironically, it is the people who grow the food who starve. The elites control what people are allowed to think, say, and do. They control every aspect of society. Those who speak against them are imprisoned or killed....

Is the best way to get points on this site to bash George W. Bush and America? There are so many who get their opinions given to them by the news who DR the people who have actually been there for voicing opinions formed through actually being there.
It speaks volumes about how effective the mainstream liberal propoganda machine is. Most people who "hate Bush" can give you no specific reason why, they have just heard over and over how evil he is they go along because that seems like the cool thing to do. I've seen liberals interviewed who state that Iraq was all Bush's idea and when told that leading Democrats like Gore,...

Since Obama is the new president of United States, what are your opinions on the economy about the stimulus package that will keep us in debt for about 3,000 years?
I think the same poison that created the whole thing, (with both political parties right on board) is now being forced down our throats by the gallon. There is pain to come, no way around it. The time will come that the chickens will come home to roost. I disagree with mortgaging the future even more to avoid the pain today. The markets need to reset, let them. The U.S. has gone further in debt...

You could not drink it unless it were so cold it would freeze every part of your body it touched. The burns would be so severe I think your throat would seize up and you would die of suffocation. Liquid oxygen is a very interesting thing.

It wasn't me that wanted it, but my kids. Rock Band II or something like that. They wanted it very much for Christmas. It was two hundred and something dollars for the deluxe version. They tried it for a day or two after Christmas, put it aside, and never play with it any more. We'll probably wind up selling it in a garage sale for $25 bucks or something.

Why can't 65% of all Americans find where England is on the map, while 94% know who Paris Hilton is?
The reasons are multiple.
1. The U.S. public education system has been off the mark for a long time, putting more emphasis on things other than the basics. Lack of parental involvement is another big factor. The dropout rates in some areas is astounding.
2. Pop culture. A high percentage of society has become more interested in movie stars, musicians, and other cultural icons than in real...

"The Windmill". It was a place just outside of town where there was a big open spot surrounded by think brush with a narrow dirt road leading into it. The former Grand Wizard of the Ku Klux Klan, David Duke, called Michael Steele a racist after Mr. Steele was named the new head of the RNC. Isn't that the height of irony? See LINK:
Michael Steele is a conservative and anyone who is a racist cannot be a conservative. Judging people by their merits and character is at the foundation of conservatism. It's why conservatives fought so long and hard against the racist agenda of the Democrats. Mr. Duke is not a conservative, and Mr. Steele is not a racist.
