Pilot controls on a jet look very complex. If you learn how to 'fly' a jet with software on a PC, could you then fly a real jet without any other training? I think you would have to have some other training, at least in a simulator so that you would know how the plane actually feels when you change various controls. Think about driving a car. You could learn to operate the controls on a PC, but there really isn't a substitute for actually driving.

How do you decide how many positive or negative points to give a user? I base it on how helpful the answer or question is. if it is very helpful, I give a lot. Not so much, give a little. It's up to you. Points are not really that important, they just provide a guide as to how well that person has helped others in the past.

A feature that still gives them some freedom, but keeps them out of the Adult section and notifies other users that "you are talking to a minor." I don't see how this could be implemented. Most of the younger users are very computer savvy, and would probably have no problem working around whatever obstacles are thrown in their way. I think it is usually easy to tell who the younger users are, but when I can't then it means they are acting in an adult manner and should be treated as such.

Personally, I can usually tell by which person answered it vs. their rank as to whether I should take it more seriously than others. Some ABrs tend to give more informative answers, while others tend to be silly and entertaining. Was it nice to be with several siblings? I am the youngest of six. It had its good points and bad points. You have lots of clothes to choose from (if you can get into their closet without them seeing), and there is usually someone to talk to or go places with. I did tend to fight with the sister I shared a room with, although we get along a bit better now that we are older.

I would probably lean toward the experienced one, with the caveat that they keep up with advancements in their field. The recent graduate is going to be more up to date on the latest research and techniques, but does not have a wealth of experience to draw from.

Do you proof-read your questions and answers before submitting them. I get put off by questions that have poor spelling on them, and rarely rate answers for the same reasons. I do give my questions/answers the once over, but some spelling or typing errors probably still get through. It seems like many of the people on AB are used to texting, as they write in the same style here. I find it a bit annoying, but then again it gives my brain a workout trying to decipher some of the stuff!

I found that if they want to know more detail than what you tell them, they will ask. Otherwise, they will roll their eyes and say "Oh mom!". If you start early, it doesn't have to be a one-time conversation, but an on-going one.

I am an 18 year old male and i want to have a baby, but i dont want a girlfriend tied with it or a wife at that i just want a baby, how would i go about doing this? I recommend volunteering somewhere where you can get experience actually taking care of a baby (e.g. babysitting, daycare, hospital) so you can see what is involved in what you are asking. We have a 12 yr old male cat that has always had the run of the house and just got a 2 yr old small female dog. Cat will hardly come out from under the bed? Any ideas? Just give it time. Before you know it you will probably find them curled up together. It probably helps that it is a 2 yr old dog vs a puppy. Just make sure that your dog is under control when the cat is in the room so the cat doesn't get startled.

I believe that women should cover up, though, because in our society it is not acceptable to go topless. I personally don't have a problem with it, but I did use a blanket or towel while nursing. I still got some dirty looks even with a blanket over my shoulder. I do not think they should have to use the restroom to nurse.

Any suggestions? We have an AirPlay (plugs into the top of the ipod) which is okay and costs about $20. I also have a Kensington micro which costs about $30 and the sound seems a little clearer. It plugs into the docking port at the bottom of the ipod.

I have old Hi-8 Videotapes that I can't even view anymore, because my videocamera is broken. I have some great videos on there; How else can I watch them? You can take them to a camera store and they should be able to transfer them to DVD for you.

I'm not a big fan of car payments, so one a car is paid off I'm loath to start new debt as long as it is running well.

If it is on your property, you should be able to move it, but I would try to work it out with your neighbor. It's never fun to live next to someone once you start getting into pissing contests.

The best thing to do is just keep practicing, and hopefully they can give you some feedback on how to improve. The more you know your subject the better, so make sure you are up to speed on everything you are talking about.
