Have you ever dyed your hair a drastically different colour?

I used something like a dye, it was supposed to last 8-12 washes. It was also supposed to be red. It turned out bright pink, and lasted for months. Fun times. Here's a pic... doesn't show it very well, but it gives you and idea of how bad it looked.. hehe.
