Answer to:
Do you believe a relationship will work if it's based on a lie?
it honestly depends upon the lie in the first place. When I first met my husband I was 22 and he was 19. But he told me that he was 23. I guess that was a lie, but in the great scheme of things it didnt really matter - evidenced by the fact that we had 14 years together. However, if the lie is a big whopper - say that either of you is involved with someone else, then I dont think the...

Oil, oil everywhere...and no solution in sight...should BP be severely penalized for this latest oil spill?
Yes they should. Absolutley. Within the EU, oil companies are required to comply with the Seveso Directive where they have to prevent major accidents or limit their consequencies. I find it quite unbelievable that BP did not have a contingency plan for the clean up operation in place (this would def be a requirement in the EU). However, I was not surprised to find that one of the main faults...

Answer to:
if you are over 200 pounds and become bulimic how much weight can you loose in a month?
How ever much weight was lost, it would not be healthy weight loss. Bulimia is a very serious phsychological disorder. Physically making yourself sick after eating would make someone feel extremely weak both physically and emotionally - then the Bulimic would feel distressed and guilty if they dont make themselves sick.
Best thing to do... follow a sensible diet and exercise, then you could...

Should I ever talk to my ex again? She dumped me for another guy, and sill wants to be my friend.....wow right
Eventually you may learn to be 'civil' towards her, but in truth, you probably cant really be friends. The best analogy I heard once about this went like this.... ' being friends after a break-up is a bit like your dog dying and your mum saying you can still keep it ...'
Seriously, once you find love again - and believe me you will find love again in time... you'll wonder what the fuss was...
Answer to:
i am a 15 year old girl and i cheated on my boyfrind(just kissed another guy)i want him back and how do i get him to forgive me?
I dont think that there is much you can do I'm afraid. Your bf would no longer be able to trust you again. Once trust has been broken it can seldom ever be regained. But you are young. You should put this one down to experience and learn from it.

I'm sure your bf loves you whatever your size. (47kgs is very slight) and 52kgs is not much bigger really..... some men do prefer something to get hold of.. so he may prefer a few extra pounds.

How would I know if my guy of almost 3 years is cheating on me? It hurts not knowing, Please help
There are many things you could do to find out. The first and most obvious one is to ask him directly and play close attention to his body langage as he answers. Other ways involve you snooping around - checking his emails, mobile phone, following him etc. But none of these are good options and are likely to eat away at you even more.
You really should be asking whether or not you can...

my ex said changed the subject when i asked if he wanted me outta his life.. i took my stuff bak & put all our stuff in a pile..will he care
I/m sorry to say but it sounds like he has already made his mind up that it is over. I dont think anyone can really tell you whether he will care or not. My guess is that even if he does, it wont be enough.
Keep your stuff and dont go back to him because it is likely that you will just find yourself in the same position in a few months time.

I found out my step dad is cheating on my mom. i have all the evedance, he has the oddasity to do this on FB.... what should i do???? im totally lost and the tramp is 18 years old.... WTF. y does he do this after being married 10 years.... any advice?
Before you go firing off with guns blazing, ask yourself 'are you really sure that this is going on?' You say you have evidence - what kind of evidence? sending stickers and flirts on fb does not necessarily mean anything. But, on the other hand it could be more. What I do know is that this behaviour obviously bothers you.
I suggest that you have a quiet word with your step dad...

you could always accidently drop some nails, sharp shards of glass, or other things that may rip his tyres on the path. Once he gets a shredded tyre its gonna cost him money. He might learn then that cars are for roads, not paths.

I have been with my boyfriend for 5 years and we have a 3 year old daughter. he is VERy mentally abusive, he says i make him say those things. should i give up and move on? is all relationships like that?
No, not all realtionships are like that at all. You say he is mentally abusive and and says you make him say those things. But lets face it, you cant make anyone do anything. He is responsible for his own behaviour.
If you want to make it work, you need to communicate and meet in the middle - couples therapy might help. But if you really dont want it any more then move on and end it.

Ok I can accept that people can still love their ex's, its only natural, particularly if it was a long relationship and children are involved.
But DeeDee it is sad that your life is this mans option. Kick him to the kerb. He doesnt deserve you, and why would you allow yourself to be treat this way. You should cut your losses and find someone who treats you with love and respect,...

I just started seeing this guy about two months ago, its been going okay, but I recently kissed me ex and I didn't feel anyhting for him, it made me feel better about my new guy because i realized how much more i liked him. Should I tell the new guy?
You could tell your new guy in the interests of being honest and fair, but it is likley that your new relationship will end because of it.
Ok so the fact that you kissed your ex and felt nothing means that you are over him, but it doesnt explain why you did it in the first place. Obviously something is not quite right with the new guy otherwise you wouldnt have kissed your ex.

I was with my b.f for almost 4 years. I loved him with all of my heart and would have done anything for him. our relationship was good, except when i found out he was texting this girl he works with and lied to me about it. could it have been innocent?
Yes it could be innocent, but if that was so, why did he lie about it? He was obviously covering up something for some reason.
Personnally I believe that once lies begin to creep into the relationship, the trust that is there is undermined. Without trust you dont really have anything.
So, ask yourself, do you really truly trust him and did you before this incident?

I have naturally wavy/thick hair and as it gets longer it gets heavier, so I wanted to get a product to retain the curls; does anyone know any good ones? Does Tousle Me Softly work at all?
I too have naturally wavy/curly hair. And, like you, I like to retain the curl as it grows.
The thing that I use to achieve this is a good quality leave in conditioner, usually applied whilst my head is hanging upside down and I scrunch my hair upwards with the conditioner.

43 were beasts (4 legs) 43 x 4 = 172

How much should a normal newborn eat? it seems as he eats none stop, just a few weeks old and he eat every few min. is that normal?
If he is being breast fed it may be that either he isnt getting enough because mum cant produce enough to keep up with him, or he could just be enjoying the comfort he gets from suckling.
If he is bottle fed, then he may need a thicker formula, especially if he is quite a big baby.
A healthy newborn who is getting enough food should go about 4 hours inbetween meals.

cut down on your carbs - potatoes, pasta, rice, bread
cut down on sweets, chocolates, fizzy drinks and biscuits etc.

Within the UK, it is unlikely that you will arrested for non-payment of a credit card. It may well be that the credit card company has issued a county court judgment (CCJ) in respect of that money.
This means that you may be contacted to make repayments (if they can find you) and that you wont be able to get any other form of credit whilst in the UK for approx 7 years.

I warned him right from the start though - but I didnt start letting rip until about 4 or 5 months into the relationship (when we went on holiday together for 2 weeks - it would have been pretty hard to hold them in as we sharing a room)
He's used to it now. He just laughs - or goes in competition with me to see who can...

Why are more people being diagnosed with Asthma? What are the five most contributing factors? Why is the Government failing to reduce the epidemic?
Alimalikka gave a very good and comprehensive answer, but I would like to add to that list work related asthma. Certain chemical substances used in the workplace are respiratory sensitisers (eg certain wood dust, flour dust, isocyanates, latex, fish proteins, chromium VI compounds, welding fume etc).
If a person is exposed to any respiratory sensitiser for long enough they will become...

My parents divorced when I was 6 or 7. I dont think that it was handled very well by my parents. My mum would often use me and my siblings to get back at my dad, telling him how much we missed him and wanted him to come back home etc (her words not ours).

Included with the game are 12 lists with 12 subjects on - eg, famous bridge, cartoon character etc. You roll the dice, start the timer and set about thinking of an answer for each of the 12 subjects that start with the letter that is...

IF it were not compulsory would you wear a seat belt ever time you got into the car? Especially if you were traveling on the back seat?
Its hard to say because it has been a legal requirement to wear a seat belt in the UK since about 1983, so I suppose you just get used to it. BUT, if passengers in the back dont wear one and the car is involved in a crash - even if people in the front seat are wearing seat belts they could still be crushed to death by the person in the back not wearing a seat belt.
So I suppose we should...

What gives better performance? A car with a manual or automatic transmission?
Definetly manual all the way.
In the UK most cars are manual. But what is interesting though is that if you pass your driving test in an automatic car, then you are only permitted to drive automatic cars on your licence, but if you pass in a manaul then you can drive both. Hence, most drivers in the UK will drive manuals and will probably prefer them.

How long is flight from glasgow to sharm el shiek
It kinda depends on all kind of variables like wind speed and direction and the route taken. I flew from Manchester to Sharm in 5 1/2 hours, so I guess from Glasgow it would be about 6 1/2. (But it did take 6 1/2 to get back though... must have been a different route / wind direction etc)

It depends on lots of things really. The spliff you smoked 7 days ago, was it a whole one or did you share? when was the last time you smoked before that? etc etc - as the effects of marijuana are accumalative. If you smoked everyday for a long time before it can take up to 6 weeks to be clear from your system.

It depends upon the circumstances. Many women have had abortions, and far be it for me to judge anyone.

My car has been written off. I valued the car at £2500. What are the insurance company likely to offer? Can I haggle?
Your insurance will only offer you the bottom book price for your car. So, if you could sell it at £2500 then I would guess that you would be lucky to get £1500 back - it really depends on the car,the insurance company and the excess on your policy.
You can try haggle - but it will probably do you no good and just delay your payout for even longer.

Sounds illegal to me. If you dad took the loan in his name only (as in only he signed) then the bank has no right to take money from you and your boyfriends accounts surely? I have an old printer (HP 1100). My laptop is newer than the printer and its running on Vista. When i inserted the Printer CD to install the software it showed me the files, did however not prompt me to start installing. Is there a way I can install it?
You could try look on the disk for the set up.exe file and double click it. If that doesnt work it may be that your printer will not work with Vista - I have the same problem with a scanner that I have.
You could try to see if there is a driver you can download from HP for your printer that is compatible with Vista. But as your printer is old, it is likely that a driver will not exist.

My Girlfriend and I are going out for 2 years, and i love here very much. But she never know me well, i don't want to ruin our relationship and im afraid if she would know about it. I'm gay and i hate it!!!No one has any idea about it. Should I tell her?
If you are gay then your girlfriend truly deserves to know. I know you dont want to ruin your relationship, but I'm afraid that this kind of thing often does ruin relationships - however strong it seems to be.
You should be true to your self and your own feelings and tell her the truth. You will feel much better for it, and then hopefully, you can stop hating yourself. You never know,...

I dont think that Osama can be blamed for the state of affairs - the mistrust of people etc - I think the Media and the politians have done a good enough job all by themselves.

You could have a lettered theme. For instance, if you chose the letter 'L' then people could come as say, a leopard,a lion, leonardo (mutant hero turtles, John Lennon, Little Big Horn etc etc. Choosing a letter might give a wide range of outfits. It really depends what you want.

Okay so i have to best friends (Amanda) and (Emma) and all of the sudden one day emma stopped talking to me and calling me a Bitch and stuff and i asked her why and she said cause you never hang out with me anymore? Is that really the problem?
Its difficult to say from what you have said, but I do know that having 2 best friends (Esp if you are in your teens) can be problematic. One friend will always feel left out (maybe that is what is going on here). As you get older, it doesnt seem to matter anymore. For nor, I think you should try to talk to your friend (the one who has fallen out with you)and make amends, and do try to spend...

IF you have a latex allergy, and you tell the tattoo artist/piercer before they even start, and unfortunately you don't notice they used Latex anyway, the area is still more swollen then it should be, and red... what should you do?
I does depend on the type of allergy that you have. There are two main types:
Irritant contact reaction: with this type once you remove the article or substance then the rash (or reaction) goes away over a short (a few days) period of time.
Allergic contact reaction: this is the more serious kind as your body becomes sensitised to the article or substance. In some cases, further contact...

It can vary of course (its a bit like asking what is the length of newborn human). On average they can be anything from about 5 or 6 mm - 12mm. They are a bit like small larvae when they are first born, then they crawl into the mothers pouch were they grow even more.

My washing machine isn't draining very well. I think it is because something is caught...how do i check/fix it?
I reckon that there is something stuck in the pump mechanism. I'm sure if you google the make and model of your machine and the word pump you will get some useful info back which will probably help.
I've done it twice for my washing machine probs and have had sucess every time. Def cheaper than a repair man.

If there is a fault that is causing the shock then yes depending upon the nature of the fault. However, if the shock is caused by static...

Left side of leg? which leg? is the pain high up (thigh area) or low down (Shin area).
If it is low shin pain it is likely that you have shin splints (caused by running on hard ground).
However, with all aches and pains, the best thing you can do is to rest up for a few weeks and hope it gets better. In the long run, it will only get worse if you keep putting exercising it.

In my opinion, your relationship was built upon lies and deceit because she was cheating on her boyfriend with you.

Firstly, coming off the contraceptive pill can make you slighlty irregular as your body gets back into its own natural rhythm.
Secondly, If you have sex without using contraceptives the chance of becoming pregnant is high.
Thirdly. The only way to be sure is to have a pregnancy test.

I'm no vet but I think that if you mated your dog 7 weeks ago you should be able to tell by now whether or not she is pregnant due to the size of her abdomen. Dogs pregnancies last about 63 - 68 days (i.e less than 10 weeks) so at 7 weeks, your dog should be quite heavily pregnant.

After a 8 months long distance relationship my bf said that being in love went to friendship and not love and he started to date someone a month after breakup who lives in the same place as he. Is it still possible that he falls for me if we meet?
He might do, but that doesnt change the fact that he is seeing someone else and that your relationship would still be long-distance. It seems to me that he has made up his mind and moved on with his life. You are far too good to be waiting round for this guy to change his mind. Get yourself out there, meet new people, go to new places and start having fun.

The truth is that when it comes right down to it, everybody likes different things sexually. You should really try to talk to your partner, ask him what he would like. Maybe he is just a bit shy. depends upon what games you want. Personally, I dont really like megadrives. You can get good games at reasonable prices, especially wrestling type ones - but i dont think any mario ones. Mario tends to be just ninetendo rather than sega.
So for the SNES - the old classic , you can get racing games, mario games and of course, if you like zelda then you can get the original zelda games....

What does getting a tattoo feel like? Ive always wondered this, i want a small tattoo but i hate any type of needle
It also depends upon where abouts on your body you have the tattoo done. I have heard that having a tattoo on loose skin, say around the belly button area can be quite painful. But then I have also heard that having a tattoo on bone (eg ankle) is quite painful.
Shoulder blades feel a bit irritable, but too painful.
If its your first tattoo just dont go for anything too big.

However, on the other hand, maybe if we are the only intelligent life force in the entire universe that the conditions on Earth were just right for life.

Probably the most pertinent block is the uneven spread or balance of domestic growth. For instance, there are industrious areas; Hong Kong, Singapore, Beijing etc, and then there are the areas where still there is no running water, no mains electricity and disease an poverty is rife. Surely, in order to be a real superpower, their house (or at least Country) should be in order!!

Women: How does the fact that you're approached regularly by men affect your OVERALL view of men... and your expectations of a particular man you're talking to?
I'll be honest. I find the singles market a very sad state of affairs. For me, it has reached the stage where I feel that as an attractive (so my friends say) female I am constantly approached by guys. And to make matters worse, if I say anything more than hello to these guys (as I believe that you should be friendly and polite to people who speak to you) then mosty guys think that they...

Have you ever had "crabs"? This is not the kind you get at Red Lobster. How do you treat pubic crabs?
I have never ever ever had them, but I believe that if you ask your pharmacist you will be able to buy something over the counter. Often it will be the same treatment for public lice as it is for head lice.

Answer to:
How many times do you give people a "2nd" chance when they just keep hurting you and letting you down?
It would depend on the circumstances. For instance, if my partner cheated on me then I would give just one second chance. If it was something less serious, like say my partner flirting on the internet (but not actually meeting anyone) then I would probably give them about 3 second chances - after that they would be out.
On the other hand, my son is terrible at doing his chores. I keep...

Anyone know a good remedy to get rid of cluster headaches?
I was suffering from really bad cluster headaches. Every day I was taking several ibuprofen tablets too. I asked my friend to perform some Reiki healing on me, and honestly, for about 8 weeks afterwards I had no need to take any pain killers for my head. They have come back again though so I suppose I should go and see her again soon.

Some people think that the fires in Southern California are acts of terrorism, and not of nature. What do you think? Did the fires start naturally, or was this a terrorist attack disguised as forest fires?
I honestly think that the fires started naturally. Afterall, it is a very hot climate out there and bush fires are very very easily started - but quite hard to put out.
My thoughts go out to those who are suffering or who have lost their homes.

Why do people say bless you?
It depends on the context of the words. For instance, if you sneezed and someone said bless you, then the origins date back to the bubonic plague that spread across England and Europe in the 19th and early 20th Century. One of the first signs of you contracting the disease were flu or cold like symptoms. Thus if you sneezed, people would say bless you as it was possible that you just might be...

I would like to name my baby girl as "Mishel". Is it a feminine name?. Somebody told me that right spelling is "Michelle". But I think, it is complicated and that's why I choose "Mishel". Please let me know your opinion.
I think Michelle is a very feminine name. I think you can spell your babys name however you want. I think that that may be driven by where you live. For instance, if you were in the UK or the USA you might choose to spell the name Michelle or Michele, but if you live in India you may go for a less traditional spelling of the name.

Why is Bree on Desperate Housewives pretending she's pregnant? I missed the last couple of shows!
she is pretending to be pregnant because her daughter fell on pregnant to Edie's nephew (cant remember his name - the one with the motorbike). So Bree's daughter is away at a convent until she has the baby, after which time, I assume that Bree will pretend that she has had her baby and she will then look after daughters baby and raise as her own.

Here is the senerio, there are two people. One weighing 300lbs. and the other weighing 170lbs. They both drop from a height of 2 miles. Do both hit the ground with the same force and speed?
If they were dropped on the moon (where there is no gravity) then they would hit the ground at the same time. However, if the "experiment" was done on earth then the person weighing 300lbs would hit the ground sooner.
The force would be different for each person. The heavier person would feel more force than the lighter one.

I am on birth control pills and i was wondering, when daylight savings comes, do i take my pill at 6:20 pm as usual, or should i take it an hour before at 5:20, because that would make it 24 hours?
It really does depends on what type of pill you are taking. ie. the combined pill or the mini-pill. You should read the enclosed leaflets carefully. In my experience most birth control pills have a 12 hour window. (eg. If I took one at 8am today then I would have until 8pm tomorrow to take the next one)
If yours have a 12 hour window then I would carry on taking it at 6.20pm.

Eating candy definetly very bad. You are probably having sugar crashes from the candy which is sending you to sleep.
Try walk about the office a bit more, take a break from your desk and try focus your eyes on different things (in the distance) every now and then. Try not to fight the sleep too much. If you have a first aid room, try go an lie down for about 10 minutes, you might feel more...

Is it normal to sometimes feel detached from your newborn child ? What causes this
After giving birth women can sometimes feel isolated and lonely and sometimes they may feel detached from the child, expecially if the birth was quite traumatic or the baby was born by C-Section.
Many new mums have the baby blues for a few weeks afterwards and during this time they may not always form the bond with their child that they expected to. This isnt so much of a problem....

Firstly, I really do think that you need to confront him about his behaviour. Whatever he says, this kinds of thing just isnt right. Whenever he is doing is this he might as well be saying to you "you are just not good enough for me" or "you dont really do it for me anymore!".
It is probably more likely that your partner is feeling a bit insecure and a bit worried about...

You could try turing your phone off and then on again, this may increase the signal strength. It may also be because you are using your phone in an area where there is poor mobile phone signal reception.
Alternatively, switch to another mobile provider. (in the UK the mobile phone network 3 is particualarly bad - I would not recommend it to anyone!)

For his eyes, you could try bathing them with either cooled, boiled water and cotton wool OR cold tea (without milk and sugar obviously) and cotton wool. Sounds like you should really treat him with some good flea and tick treatments, these might be costly. And as for his damaged pads, you could try bathe them and keep an eye on them. But he may need to see a vet.

Your chances of being pregnant are quite slim, UNLESS you have recently been on a course of anti-biotics (these render the contraceptive pill ineffective) or UNLESS you have had a recent bout of sickness or diarrhoea (again this can mean that the pill wasnt in your body long enough for it to be ingested, and therefore, for it be effective.)

I suppose that it is circumstantail. It depends why you want to go away in the first place. Say if you wanted to move to be nearer your family as a close family member may be ill, then you should consider going on your own. If it is a job offer that will require a permanent move then you need to think about what is more important to you - your career or your relationship.

you need to tell him quite firmly that DIVORCE is the FINAL argument. He has NO right to interfere in your life, unless he feels that his children are at risk. I do get the impression, though, that this is not the case at all. He just seems like a person who doesnt want you, but he doesnt want anyone else to have you.

I think that the most sensible thing that you can do is to talk to someone about it. Have you considered therapy? This may help in your circumstances. Alternatively, you may even want to consider hypnosis or meditation. This may help clear your mind a bit. Dont be too hard on yourself. What happened wasnt your fault and it will take time to heal.

I suppose you could tell if you brushed half your teeth with whitening paste and the other half in ordinary toothpast. Lol. All whitening toothpastes should contain titanium dioxide which is the white colour pigment that is used in everything that is manufactured to be white, so in theory, they should work. I use a whitening paste and have done for about 2 years and I have not noticed any...

Why does keeping yourself hungry or not eating somehow help emotional pain?
I dunno exactly how it works, but I think that emotions are linked to appetite. In your case. you dont eat, but in other peoples instances they will eat a lot when going through emotional turmoil and will be likely to put weight on.

Hi im really scared my 5 month puppy is pregnant i brought her out with my friends dog who is also not nutered it was last night she was sick this morning is this a siCK HOW WILL I KNOW IF SHE IS IS PREGNANT THANKYOU
The first thing I will ask it this... 'Was your dog bleeding before?'. If the answer is no, it is probably very unlikely. This is because when you are breeding dogs, they will usually bleed (or have a period if you like) for a few weeks whilst they are fertile. Most dogs will be at their most fertile between days 6 and days 15 of their bleeding cycle.

My 2 1/2 year old male cat tends to regulary disappear every weekend, friday- sunday- 24-48hrs. During this time theres no sighting of him as he doesnt come back for he's food. I get worried he's been hurt. Can this habit be stopped?
Unfortanely cats are a bit like teenagers, they turn up when they are hungry and tired and they come and go as they please. If you cat hasnt been neutered this would probably help a bit with the straying but as a downside, he will then probably put a bit of weight on.

Absoloutley. The bottom line is that using a phone whilst driving causes accidents. Here in the UK if you are caught using your mobile phone whilst driving you are fined and you will get 3 points on your driving licence. If you are unlucky enough to get 12 points on your licence then you lose it and you will be unable to drive.

I am no doctor but it sounds to me like you either need much stronger anti-biotics taken for a longer period of time, Or, alternatively, you may need to be referred to a specialist (especially if you are passing blood) as the cystitis could actually be a sign of having kidney stones which may have moved.

I buy all my pets flea treatment from Australia, even though I live in the UK, and I have done for aboutn 3 years. This is because it is much cheaper than buying them from the vets here in the UK. As far as I can make out, the product is exactly the same and none of my pets have experienced any problems with the imported flea treatments. I usually purchase them from vetproductsdirect.com

i think for another chance to make this relationship work you both need to communicate better. you should quit the porn sites and stop ignoring her or she will screw around on you again. She probably did that because she felt that you didnt care for her or for your unborn child.
If you want to make it work, I would suggest that you both consider couples therapy and dont move back in...

I dont know about US Law, but I would definetly appeal. In the UK, most drivers go by the 2 second rule, ie. leaving a 2 second gap between you and the car infront. 2 seconds would not produce a gap of 92 feet. It would be much smaller than that. good luck fighting your ticket.

you can switch allegiances, like many unloyal fans do. But I think that you choose your colours only once, and if your team is doing bad then thats just the way it is. Take it from me, my team were relegated a division last season and they received a 15 point deduction at the start of this one. So now they are -6 points in the league, despite winning their first 3 games.

yes you can. Pregnancy tests are 99% accurate, but my understanding is that if the test comes back positive then there is no mistake. The 1% that they are inaccurate will usually manifest itself by producing a negative result, when in fact it is positive.

I think that most people have been known to 'test love ' from time to time. Whether its just seeing what you can get away with. For instance, can you get your partner to pick you up from work, collect groceries for you etc. Or even more serious, people will often test love by playing mind games. I think that by nature, human beings test things to destruction - even love.

Why are there more clothing options for girls than there are for guys?
Probably because just from the basics there is more choice. For instance, females can wear skirts, dresses, shorts, trousers and tops whereas men just have trousers, shorts and tops. This is more of a cultural debate than anything else. Sure, a male can wear a skirt or dress if he wants to - but he would probably get funny looks from passers by.

The question that you should be asking yourself is 'is this behaviour acceptable?'. The man is supposed to be your fiance, he has left you for 3 weeks with only 2 phone calls. If you do get back together this will probably be representative of your marriage. He will probably leave you over and over again for weeks at a time - leopards do not change their spots. It may be hard -...

There are no real techniques that you can use to help get over your grief. What you are feeling is perfectly normal and natural.
Time is a great healer, and I guess that although you still feel sad now, you dont feel quite as bad as did when you first lost your pet. Of course you will think of your pet for a long time, probably every day a few times a day. Afterall, they have always...

I have been paid monthly for the last 6 years and of course it has advantages and disadvantages.
Disadvantages - You are rich for 2 weeks, then poor for two weeks, you only get paid 12 times a year
Advantages - Good for budgeting /paying monthly bills etc, You get more money on pay-day therefore might be able to afford more luxurious items easier,

when using stock cubes (such as oxo) crumble them between your fingers whilst still in the wrapper. Just cut the wrapper and Voila!! This way they are sure to crumble into your food much easier.

It is possible that you may be pregnant, especially since you missed 2 pills when you were about mid-cycle. You should also realise that because you have missed pills from this packet, you will not be protected from the risk of pregnancy until the pack is finished and you have your period as...

Very very slim especially if her period is due within the next few days as a woman usually ovulates about 12 - 14 days BEFORE her period. So if you got carried away today there would be no egg to fertlize.

Firstly you should talk to her, see how she feels about it. But honestly, if I have learned one thing in all my years it is this... Once a relationship has been declared as over, there really is no going back. All you will do is come across the same problems as you did before, except next time, you might not salvage your friendship.

Answer to:
Where are your dead loved ones?
Their bodies in the soil
Their love in my heart
Their memories are in my head
Their souls are in another place, always here with me when I need them but always there too
Sometimes I see them in my dreams and sometimes I feel them around me. Sometimes they come and talk to me too.

Do you think the Miss United States Pageant is outdated and anti-feminist? (I am just wondering)
No I dont think so, if anything I think that the Pageant is very pro-feminist if you understand feminism as 'a concept which uses as a starting point the idea that society systematically and institutionally treats women as subordinate to men'. Therefore, to see a woman as a free, educated, mindful and strong individual who, lets face it, oozes sexual power over men; it would seem...

My fiance cheated on me. He wants to try to make it right. He needs to prove a lot and I need time to make a decision, but what do I do in the meantime? Do I tell my friends and family and risk them hating him if we go through with marriage?
Most people cheat because there is something wrong in the relationship. It has nothing to do with you or how much that person loves you, it is to do with themseves. If you can find the root of the problem and fix that first maybe you can make it work. That way, though, requires brutal honesty with each other which can be painful. How do I prove to my girlfriend of almost 3 years that I didn't cheat on her with a co-worker?

Most rights in European states have been superceded by the EU directive - The Human rights Acts 1998, which include: right to life, right to a fair trial, rights to own property and right to privacy. This EU law has to be weaved into the legal system and EU law takes precedent over individaul countries laws. For instance, under EU law detaining prisoners without telling them what they are been...

What am I going to tell my children when they want to do the same stuff I did?
I think that you have to remember that you are raising adults not kids, and sometimes, they have to learn their own lessons in life as hard as that may be for you to watch.
You can only teach them to understand the consequences of their choices.

Answer to:
Why is it that when a person is murdered it gets more attention then someone who dies in a war?
It is to do with 'News Values' a concept devised by Galtung and Ruge in 1965. And a murder is classed as a 'threshold' event. It is a big story in a local community.
