How do I write my own bass line? If you're like me and you sing at the same time, it can be easier to play something similar to what you are singing. But if all you do is play bass, you have to keep up the rhythym, because if you don't, you'll screw everybody else up. Also, make sure to play something that doesn't sound bad with the guitar part.
