Answer to:
Are you for or against the new Arizona immigration law?
I think some of us are a little to over zealous in supporting this law, does immigration need to be solved, yes. Is this law going to solve it? I would say first of all the basics of this law need to be evaluated. You can be stopped if you look remotely latino, and arrested if you don't have immigration papers on your person.
For all those supporting this, I would say you might not understand...
Answer to:
will someone press charges if i told them to leave my house they refused and then I beat them up. Not seriously, just til they left.
Thanks for the answers, and don't worry it was hypothetical, I'd like to ask a follow up which relates to this. How do you see the relationship of society and the legal system, is it fair? Is it just, or is it corrupt? We've moved on to a non violent society, which I think is a good thing, but have we gone too far? Just food for thought and again thanks for all the answers.
Answer to:

I would say the picture to the left will answer the question if we are going by majority it would be Association Football.

Answer to:
Who are the eleven African-American actors who have won Oscars in the past 79 years (and for what films)?
Denzel Washington
Morgan Freeman
Sidney Poitier
Halle Berry
I'm not sure who else these are the only ones I can think of at the moment, I only know these because they actually deserved to win an oscar unlike some of the people winning today. Side note (He's from Benin, not sure if he's a dual citizen though) Djimon Hounsou deserved to win best supporting actor for his acting in Blood Diamond,...
Answer to:
Who's your favorite 'bad guy' in the movies/TV? Any particular role stand out?
I'm sure their are many opinions but I personally would say Heath Ledger's the Joker in The Dark Knight could go down as one of the greatest bad guys in history. Also thirty years ago Darth Vader from Star Wars was considered an epic villain, although Star Wars has taken a popularity hit because of the three recent flops by George Lucas.

Answer to:
Which books would Answerbag users recommend?
For me, I prefer Science fiction, books like Ender's Game, War of the Worlds etc. But it depends on what you like, go by what type of movies you like. For example:Mystery? Try Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes, timeless and incredible given they were written a hundred and twenty years ago they deserve even more respect.
Answer to:
is a 150lb overheadpress a good lift
I would say yes, but a lot of that depends on your body weight and is this standing or sitting? In general if you can bench your body weight and military press two thirds or more of your body weight standing thats a good start.
Answer to:
Do you agree with the new immigration law in Arizona: if you "appear to be illegal" (look Hispanic), they can stop you and check you out?
Arizona? That can't be right, it sounds a little like Nazi Germany, you must be mistaken.

Answer to:
Are you a Christian who supports Arizona's new immigration law? If yes, how do resolve your support with Lev. 19:33-34?
I believe the answer regarding both immigration and Arizona's controversial law is not found in politics but in one of humanity's most incredible gifts. Empathy. I would challenge any Christian to take themselves out of their comfortable homes in the USA and put themselves in poverty stricken Mexico. Where your greatest concern isn't what car your getting your child for their Sweet Sixteen, but...

Answer to:
What is the best inspirational sports movie?
Chariots of Fire. The Oscar winning movie about two runners in the 1920's. The film is one of the best when it comes to a character study and contrast and pulls in so many facets, from the how the athletes feel in the the locker room before the race, to the role of sports in a post World War I world where Europe had been torn apart. An inspirational movie and an Oscar winner that actually...
Answer to:
I have totally given up on men. Can somebody inspire me to have hope again?
As a guy I can see how you can say that, but I would also say that you shouldn't give up completly because not all of us are the same. I think for both men and women we try a little too hard to find love, just try to be patient even though it's difficult, and don't give up on men, you'll find someone.
Answer to:
Does the Wahoo Symbol for the Cleveland Indians offend you?
No, the name and symbol were actually chosen to honor the Native American influence in Ohio. I would agree with weather man that the Washington Redskins is pretty offensive, because that is a very derogatory name.
Answer to:
Does Cleveland rock?
Yes, Cleveland rocks. From the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, to the House of Blues, to catching a Basketball game at the Quicken Loans Arena (possibly without Lebron next year, hopefully not) Cleveland does rock. Concerts, plays, shopping, although Tower City is pretty much gone. Swing by the Warehouse District and head over to Osteria di Valerio a great restaurant (I'm Italian so I'm biased)....
Answer to:
YouTube is five years old. Has the general intelligence of society gone down within those five years?
I would say yes. Now is that a result of YouTube? I would have to say that it would be very difficult to prove that it has an effect either way. I would say we, as a society, are getting dumber and losing our ability to empathize with our fellow humans. In todays information society it is hard to understand how we could be getting dumber, but I would say a lot of it has to do with parenting (or...
