Answer to:
Can you get pregnant if you use the same piece of toilet paper that your man used to clean his sprem
Yes. You can get pregnant any time sperm in introduced to the vagina. Sperm live outside of the body in open air for about 30 minutes. If you cleaned up with the same toilet paper, or towel as is fairly popular, you can definately get pregnant. Condoms prevent the need for toilet paper, towels, and (usually) home pregnancy tests.

What are the chances of a woman becoming pregnant if she has had her tubes tied?
The chances of getting pregnant are extremely low. With that being said, I know a woman who got pregnant on her honeymoon. She didn't want any more kids for a while so she went on the pill and got pregnant with twins. After the twins, she had a house full of kids and decided on tubal ligation. About 8 years later she became pregnant with a healthy bouncing baby boy. I realize this...

I've started to experience brown spotting after 3 weeks of taking my first pack of birth control pills. Is this normal?
Yes. This is very normal. Most women experience breakthrough bleeding when they begin taking the pill (and almost any other kind of horomonal birthcontrol.) This can occur for several months between your periods but should stop happening when your body adjusts to the horomones in the pills.
Answer to:
I had intercourse with my girlfriend last week and she will be one week late on her period this thrusday. Can she be pregant by me?
It's possible, but not likely. Women typically ovulate 12-14 days after the first day of their last menstrual cycle. A woman can become pregnant if she has engaged in unprotected sex within 4 days of ovulation. (Yes gentlemen, they keep on swimming for 4 days. It's a scientific fact.) If your girlfriend's period was due last Thursday, the first day of her last period was...

I am 23 years old, and NOT sexually active. i got my period on 10/19, 11/20, 1/4, 2/6. skipped month of dec b/c i was under a lot of stress. My period is supposed to end tmrw or day after but from the start and even now, the blood is rusty colored... y?:-/
Blood gets its color from a component in the blood called hemoglobin. The hemoglobin is affected by many different things including the amount of iron and oxygen in your blood. Hemaglobin is also affected by the presence of other cells and proteins as well as illnesses like colds and flus. In a nutshell, there are many things (most of them relatively harmless) that can affect the color of...

Why do women get pimples on their nipples? is it common? how can it be fixed?
Pimples on nipples are the same as pimples anywhere else. Acne is caused when skin cells are not shed properly, mix with oil and clog the pore. Wearing tight clothing, especially during excercise, can make it worse. I would recommend caring for this skin the same as caring for any other skin. Use anti acne products, starting with and exfoliant, then an estringent, and finally with a...

If a 15 year old girl has her period twice in the same month(on off on) what does it mean?? should she see her doctor?
(she had her first period at 12 and before now then she has never had an irregular menstrual cycle)
Irregular menstrual cycles are very common in teenagers. Horomone fluctuations, stress, atheletics, and many other things can cause changes in the cycle. Additionally, some STDs can cause spotting between periods. If this is accompanied by excessive bleeding or abnormal pain, see a doctor immediately. If the irregularity becomes bothersome, doctors usually prescribe a hormone birth control...

How do I know if I have a staph infection?
Staph infections are catalyse positive. What this means is if you take a sample and put hydrogen peroxide on it, it will bubble. This indicates that staph bacteria is present. This is just a quick test though and is not a substitute for proper laboratory testing and medical treatment.

If I took 3 birth control pills in 1 day and have a little bit of spotting and cramping for 2 days...is that normal? Am I pregnant? I know you spot if you mess up your BC pattern, so I'm not too worried...but should I be?
If you miss your pill for a couple of days, spotting and cramping is very normal. It is not normally advised that you should ever take three pills in one day. Usually, when missing two days in a row, you are instructed to take 2 pills for the next 2 days and use an alternate form of birth control for the rest of the month. No form of birth control is 100% effective and the pill does NOT...
Answer to:
I've been on the pill for 2 years, and last month was really crazy, and I'd miss a pill, double up the next day, but some days I'm miss three and only take 2, but then take 2 the next day. I'm on my off week now, and my period is late, could I be pregnant
Yes. Each time you miss the pill, especially on consecutive days, you decrease the effectiveness of your birth control and increase your chance of becoming pregnant. If you are having alot of trouble maintaining your pill schedule, there are other forms of birth control that may be more effective for you such as OrthoEvra (the Patch) which is changed every 7 days or NuvaRing (vaginal insert)...
Answer to:
Is it possible to get pregnant by two to three day old sperm?
Inside the body, yes. Outside the body (unless overseen by a professional sperm handler,) no. Sperm continue to swim upstream for up to 4 days therefore it is possible to become pregnant if you have engaged in unprotected sex up to 4 days before ovulation.
Answer to:
I had unprotected sex not for very long though, I was intoxicated. anways the guy said he didnt cum. I missed my period by 9 days, but I was very stressed out before it came. The only other sign I have are sore/swollen breast. could I be prego?
Anytime you have unprotected sex, you can become pregnant (or infected with any number of STDs including HIV.) Even if a guy doesn't "cum" he still produces "precum" which contains a sufficient number of sperm to cause pregnancy. Drinking alcohol and doing drugs makes it likely that a similar situation will arise again in the near future. Being stuck at home with a...

I had protected sex on the 27th december 2006 and havent come on my period since and i have had bad stomach pains i then had sex on the 10th feb 2007 is it to early to take a pregnancy test please help me im only 15
If you haven't had a period since December, you should be able to take a pregnancy test with relative accuracy. Kudos to you for using a Condom, however, no form of birth control is 100%. In addition to pregnancy, stress, and physical exertion, there are many other causes for missed periods including cervical cancer, cysts and STDs. The safest thing you can do is consult a doctor or...
Answer to:
I'm about a week away from my period but last week I had a brownish color spotting that only came out when I wiped and there hasn't been anything since. Is that a sign of implantation of the egg in the uterus?
Brownish spotting is not a likely sign of implantation of the egg. Brownish spotting or "breakthrough" bleeding is fairly normal even when on the pill, especially if you are new to the pill. As with anything though, the pill is not 100% and does not protect against STDs. Condoms are good, abstinence is better.
Answer to:
What is the percentage of getting pregnant when you're not on the pill and you have unprotected sex?
Out of 100 women, 80-85% become pregnant within 1 year if they are having unprotected sex.
Answer to:
I had sex on 1/28/07 my period suppose to had come on 2/9/2007 but it didnt i dont know if im pregnate
Unfortunately Meshaa, the timeline is very suspect of pregancy. Women typically ovulate 12-14 days after the first day of their period. A woman can become pregnant if they have unprotected sex up to 4 days BEFORE ovulation. I would suggest taking a preganancy test. If you are unable to get one on your own, there are many resources available through programs like Planned Parenthood. (They...

I am on the BCP Yasmin and am due to start my period today but am worried it is not going to come. Twice this month I took the pill 6 hours late and twice I missed it completely, but not consecutively. I've been feeling nauseous. Could I be pregnant?
Anytime you have unprotected sex, you could be pregnant. However, if you did not miss your pill for consecutive days, the chance of you becoming pregnant is relatively low. Although you are on the pill, horomone levels still fluctuate throughout the month and causes nausea in many women.
Answer to:
I'm on the pill but had unprotected sex the week I was supposed to have my period (I skipped it that week by starting a new pack)& I think I may be pregnant. If I am, will I miss a period completely or will I still get a "pill period" like I usually do?
You should miss your period. The pill period is due to a drop in your horomones. If you are preganant, your horomone levels should not drop to a level that your period will start.

I have been on Ortho-Tri Cyclene for 5 months now and have had very normal periods. I am just barely on week 2 of a new pack and have started my period. What can cause this and should I be worried?
Breakthrough bleeding is normal when you first begin taking birth control and can continue for several months after starting the pill. If the bleeding continues for longer than a normal period, you experience severe pain and/or abnormally heavy flow, talk to your doctor. Additionally, if you have taken anything that interferes with birth control pills (such as anti-biotics) this can also...
Answer to:
I read that it was okay to start a pill pack on the first day of your period. I thought I was starting my period on a particular day, so I started the pack, but 5 days later my period hasn't started. Is this because I started the pack too early?
It could be because you started the pack too early or... you may be pregnant. In addition to preganancy, there can be many serious conditions that result in missed periods such as STDs, cysts, and cancer. Better safe than sorry. You should take a preganancy test, then consult your health care professional. Usually if you start a pack of pills on the day your period is supposed to start, you...
