You should tell him, don't keep feelings like that bottled up. It is ok to tell him If he is only dating the other girl and not engaged or married. He can then take your feelings into consideration and hopefully he makes a good decision and come back to you. Good luck!

I believe it is because of lack of sex partners and social issues with peers. Interestingly, if a person stays chaste it causes mental problems with their sexuality (ie look at the situation with priests...). Some it would be just a thrill or fetish (a very unhealthy one if I may add).
