When I heard about the woman who was kicked off a plane for what she was wearing, I was shocked. I've seen parents sending their little girls off to school in less. Do you think the airline was right or wrong? i haven't heard the story and i don't know what she was wearing but i'd say that unless the airline has a dress code and all passengers are made aware of it, and given the opportunity to change if they do not fit the guidelines, then the airline was wrong.

I want to get my belly button pierced, and I've been doing a lot of research. Do all piercings grow out or does it just happen to some people? How long do you have it before it grows out? not all piercings reject (grow out), in fact, most do not. piercings that are too shallow or that are placed in thin skin (bridge of the nose) are the most likely to reject. i've heard of a few navels that have rejected repeatedly so that's just how those people's bodies were. just get it done and enjoy it. :)

My 13 year old stepdaughter tells me her that her mother is physically and verbally abusive, should I say anything to her father (my husband)? I can be honest and say that I do not want her to live with us, because of her mental and emotional status. you should definitely say something to her father and probably to CPS as well. she is 13, if someone doesn't help her and protect her NOW her mental and emotional status will only get worse. not wanting her to live with you is selfish and borderline abuse, neglect is a form of abuse.

I had a crush on a guy from work until tonight, when I saw him lose it in the back room. He just started screaming and swearing at someone and it was pretty scary. This is the first time I've seen his bad side. Should I stop pursuing now? unless you don't mind being the focus of that rage one day.

Do you think it is right for her to be grounded for this? Is your home casual throughout in terms of furnishings or do you have one or more rooms that is elegant and formal? my house is casual and comfortable. i was raised in a home that was more like a museum. if you wanted to sit on the couch for more than a few minutes you had to go get a sheet out of the closet and spread that over the couch first. i always found ridiculous so my home is live-in-able.

I live at home with my two daughters (one being 16, the other being 18). Because my daughter is 18 she can bring people I don't approve of into my home. Is this true? nope. because she is 18 she can hang out with people you don't approve of and go to their houses. your house is YOURS and you have a say in who comes is and how long they can stay. even if she were paying rent you would still have a say. i would say that unless her name is on the lease/deed she must defer to you for house rules.

I got belly button pierced 3 days ago. I thought it really hurt when most people say it "doesnt hurt at all" .. is that a bad sign ? Mine seems to be doing fine so far. I 've seen no bleeding or pus or redness except a little when i shower mine hurt like a *****. but it only hurts for a couple of weeks. people who say it didn't hurt at all are either lying, they were drunk or they were lucky. for most people it does hurt. expect white or clear pus, they are normal.

Ok I quit smoking for 38 days and gained 22 pounds I started smoking again. I need to quit but I do not want to get fat I was careful about what I ate and did PT 3 times a week and walked 2 miles a day. any suggestions on quitting w/o turning into a blimp if you can get on wellbutrin it will help you quit and keep you from wanting to overeat. basically it makes things taste funny.

How do you relieve stress? meditation is a good way to relieve stress. i like yoga. i get a workout and meditation in one neat package. there are no pre-requisites for yoga. you don't have to be strong or flexible or fit but you will become more of each of them by doing it. find a studio or some classes at the ymca or something and try a few different teachers to see who's style is a good fit for you.

(It is an elected government ~ for the most part.) it IS technically an elected government but there are many flaws in the system. in texas our governor was elected with about 30% of the vote. so many people ran that with 30% he had more votes than anyone else. that means that more than 2/3s of voting texans did not want him. so to answer your question, it's only fair to bash the ones that vote for the idiots.

I just bought an 06 kia spectra... ne advice? what should i expect out of this car? i thought it was a good choice and now ive heard nothing but bad from other people... we like ours. i'd say if you keep up with your oil changes, tire pressure and other regular stuff like that it should do just fine. they are cheap cars and we aren't expecting ours to last more than 5 years but for now its great, gets good milage (a major factor now days), drives nice and is affordable.

How bad do tattoos hurt? some places hurt more than others. if you're female the time of month you do it will effect how much pain you feel (highest pain tolerance at ovulation). if they have to go over an area a few times that will hurt more. basically, expect A LOT of pain and you'll find it easy. its one of those you pay in pain for something you really want type things.
