the ukulele! easier than the guitar 4 strings, small frets, unlike the bass. hard instruments would be brass and woodwind, its hard to get the note in tune, all depending on your breathing.

I wouldn't use a pick, since bass is supposed to be low, shouldnt be made treble by a pick, sorta like playing with long fingernails, sounds weird.
