I use AcneFree and it works for me. If you ask me its the same thing as Proactive only AcneFree is cheaper and you can buy it at a drug store.

There are different lotions and stuff. I used mederma it helped. But the red marks will go away by themselves eventually. It may take 2-4 months though..but its good knowing they will leave.

What i did was i got 4 teaspoons of apple cider vinager and mixed it with 2 cups of water and put it in an empty water bottle. Everyday i take a cotton ball and put some on my face. It really does work. I only get an occasional break out on my cheeks but they completely stopped on my forehead....

I go to the nail salon to get them off. To me it seemed like they took nail polish remover (although i dont know what it really was it just smelled like it) and put it in some bowl that they can plug into the electricity and it heats it up. it took like 30 minutes. OR you can let it grow out.

I think they say to wait 2 weeks to see results. But i used AcneFree which is the same thing (3 steps..cleanser, toner, moisturizer) and if you follow the directions like i did and used it 2 or 3 times a day, everyday, My face cleared up in a week.

Try using any type of lotion that moisturizes your skin. Whenever i shave i put lotion on and dont get any bumps. If i ever skip putting lotion on after shaving i do get shave bumps.

before trying all those expensive things try using Mederma its about $20.00 but i used it for my acne scars and it helped. It takes a while the directions even say so on the box but if you keep following the directions it is helpful. its a little tube but it should last a while because its a gel.
