It's fine. Saltwater evaporates pure, so there isn't any danger of salt crusting on your TV. The moisture from natural evaporation isn't any more than a regular room humidifier would produce. The only problem I ever had with my aquarium being next to the TV was distraction....

Try using your iron with some paper towels. Heat the iron, lay a few paper towels onto the wax and iron over them. It may take a few tries, but the heat from the iron will liquify the wax, and the paper towels will absorb it.
