Have you ever been completely naked in a public place? Or would you ever go nude on a nude beach?
I am originally from Germany, and nude/topless beaches are not that uncommon. I've been to many of each, and never thought it was any big deal. That's Europe though.

Answer to:
How much (or little) do you think a soul is worth?
I believe that to the individual, it would be worth only as much as they value themselves. As I believe that the soul is the basic foundation for who we are and what we believe, it is a value that can only be determined by the individual. I like to believe that the soul continues after the physical life has ended, and so in turn, believe that it is priceless.

Answer to:
Would prejudice exist if we had no senses?
I think that without any physical senses, there would be nothing. However, to alleviate prejudice, a lack of senses isn't the way to go. A heightened moral sense would be the answer, I believe.

How can you Christians say that Jesus is the only way to heaven? Are you saying that if a person does not believe in Jesus Christ, they are going to hell?
It is my understanding that they will go to hell, but I don't believe that the Bible says that they will burn in hell and be tortured forever, as many seem to suggest. The only ones that I believe will receive this type of punishment are the devil, the beast, and the false prophet. Rev. 20:10 "And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the...

Do you believe that America would be better governed as a Theocracy instead of a Democracy? Why or why not?
I read the following quote from James Madison, that I believe is very appropriate to this topic.
"What influence, in fact, have ecclesiastical establishments had on society? In some instances they have been seen to erect a spiritual tyranny on the ruins of the civil authority; in many instances they have been seen holding up the thrones of political tyranny; in no instance have they...

Answer to:
In reference to Mark 3:29, would taking the Lord's name in vain be considered a blaspheme against the Holy Spirit?
Not necessarily. The key to understanding this passage is to properly understand the use of the word 'blaspheme'. Its use is a translation from the Greek word 'blasphemein', which stems from the Greek word 'blasphemos'. The Greek definition is: INTENTIONAL indignity offered to God or sacred things. This means that there must be 'intent'. This implies...

What is the strangest myth ever?
Drinking lots (not exactly sure of the amount) of Mountain Dew after sex, reduces the chance of becoming pregnant. The dye in the soda tends to kill sperm cells.
Please don't ask me where this came from or why anyone would believe it, but I heard this UL story reported on a morning radio talk show.

Answer to:
Years ago I heard that Phil Collins' song "In The Air Tonight", was about his fiancee being raped and him seeing the assailant. Anyone know if there is any truth to this?
"As Phil Collins has explained numerous times over the years, "In The Air Tonight" (as well as most of the "Face Value" album) deals with his bitterness and frustration over the end of his marriage to his first wife, and the lyrics do not reference any specific real-life event."

Answer to:
Why would an Atheist spend so much time and energy talking about "God", when they don't believe that "God" exists in the first place?
I believe that as humans, (generally speaking) we have an inherent desire to believe that we are always right in our personal beliefs, thus we seek to sway others into accepting or adopting our beliefs as their own. It isn't enough for us to simply hold to our own isms and allow others to do the same in kind. The mindset of the world seems to be, "If you aren't with me, you are...

I was engaged for three years. We broke up mutually for tons of reasons; we don't communicate anymore. Is it wrong for me to wish him bad luck and misfortune for the rest of his life?
I believe it is wrong. I also believe that it is wrong for you to waste so much time and energy doing so. Not necessary to wish him well, but no need to derive pleasure from another's misfortunes, or to deliberately wish for them. Devote the energy that you waste on his bad luck, to doing something positive for yourself.
It is almost impossible to gain a clear view of the future, when...

Is it possible to have a seahorse as a pet?
Yes, but they're not much for playing fetch and it's almost impossible to find collars small enough to take them for a walk. :) Seriously though, seahorses can be kept in aquariums much like many other tropical saltwater animals and fish.

Why do people speak of "immigration" and "illegal immigration" as if they are one and the same? Why do so many not make a distinction?
Some people have a tendency to view immigrants, whether legal or illegal, as outsiders or "foreigners". Even some people whose ancestors were not from the host country wind up with this mindset. It doesn't matter if the person is a law abiding US citizen or even someone on a student visa just trying to complete an education. Case in point: I am German and married to a Native...

If you immigrate to the united states and want to get a job, shouldnt it be a requirement to speak english?and why should i as a boss have to learn spanish to understand a fellow employee who has no intention of learning english in the us
Actually, speaking and/or understanding English is not a requirement for US citizenship. Also, American society has a habit of re-structuring itself in order to placate the rest of the "civilized" world. In some countries, English is actually a mandatory class (although some of us weren't the best students...lol) I have noticed that many Americans will support any new type of...
