None whatsoever. The idea of gambling makes me anxious. Once, I tried the coin machine in a casino (went for a show and figured I would give it a try) but after I threw in 3 quarters, I felt stupid and left.

Shave her anal area off - the poop residue is annoying for the dog as well, and daily baths are really hard on her coat and skin. You can also buy pre-moist tissues or clean it up with a wet paper-towel ... that's what I do with my dog and she happily complies.

Yes, I do. I lost my cat in a house fire 5 years ago and I still choke up today whenever I think of him. Now I have a 2 1/2 years-old dog, and ever since she was a puppy, I avoid thinking 10 years ahead when she is likely to go.

You did the right thing. I know it's very painful for you and your family, but if the dog was in the state you describe, his quality of life was miserable. I am sure he is in doggy heaven, and he's grateful for the wonderful times you had together.
