Just bought ipod nana 4 gb so i started to charge it & found out some had remove it after 3 hours was there any damage done by that & no they did not remove it safely no no! nothing was harmed... you computer should tell you that the device you removed wasnt ejected the right way, but damnage done. Worse case senario is that you were syncing the ipod, and removed it..what happens is that the syncing doesnt complete so your ipod hasnt changed.

The problem is in the harddrive. This is what i would do. plug in the ipod to your computer.. and click restore ipod in itunes.
