My dog ate a sock about a week ago. He is still pottying fine but has not passed it. What should I do? He needs to see a vet ASAP! This is a serious medical issue and he probably needs surgery-otherwise he will die. Being able to pee is not the problem, the sock will need to come out of his anus, not his penis. The sock is in his intestines, which empties out of the colon (anus). If he has not pooped, he is probably blocked. Being blocked will poison him and he will die. Get him to a vet now!

I've been having to charge my iPod touch more lately. The battery seems to be draining faster than a while ago. Is this a result of a dying battery or just apps that use a lot of power? I used my ipod on a dock and was charging it when the battery was not in the red, or almost dead. I think that the frequent charging on the dock shortened the battery life. I have a 13 year old Goldern Retriever who has taken to eating builders' sand, cement and licks sandstone when we go for his daily walks. Besides the obvious that it seems to 'fix' his excrement should I be concerned that he has a digestinal problem? I would talk to your vet. There may be a deficiency in his diet and he is trying to get it from those materials. Also, eating that can possibly be life threatening. Is it true that few women admit their age and few men act theirs? I think it is true but I wish it weren't. I am 27 and have recently thought about lying about my age! My boyfriend is also 27 but he acts much younger sometimes.
