Where is your favourite place to live in England?

I like Dover in England and Fishguard in Wales, if I ever move somewhere in retirement I'd go to one of those two. I currently live and work in London, inside the city, which isn't great because of the traffic and drunken yobs that prey on unsuspecting passersby.
