Does this mean that by giving you his shoes, he's now shoeless in the rain? If this is the case, I would've suggested that he keep on his shoes and just give me a piggyback ride- this way we both win.

How can i be nicer to people ...B\c i sometimes i don't say the right things to people and accidently hert their fellings ? my mom even told me to work on it and she made me feel really bad about my self
In most cases it's not a matter of what you say but the way you say it. I'm always down for someone speaking their mind but if its said in a manner such as "I'm right and you're wrong: here's why", it can become a problem.
To answer your question, you can be nicer to people by reserving unnaturally kind thoughts to yourself and only voicing the good things.

You should consider that your looks only get so far. I don't know, exactly, what a "fun" personality is because the idea of what fun is differs from one person to the next.
Is it possible that you give off a vibe that you don't want a boyfriend? Do you think you're approachable? If not, it probably has alot to do with intimidation from a guy's point of view.

He's won recognition on a couple of singing/talent-related shows in the past and, according to TMZ, only tried out for American Idol to promote a CD that he's coming out with later this year. They're trying to make him out to be some kind of evil mastermind, but it makes no difference- he has talent.

My guess is that you're saying that your son has seen Lord of the Rings, Dragonfly and The Day After Tomorrow and you're wondering if these movies say enough about his maturity level and ability to appreciate I Am Legend.
From my personal opinion, everyone and a friend should see I Am Legend. Nothing about the movie is questionable and if he's willing to sit and watch the movie...

Why do the people who claim to be so smart are really so dumb?
For one, that's not true. Two, who are you to say so? And three, I assume that you mean "why is it that those who claim to know more than the rest of us seem to know much less?" If that's the case, the key word here would undoubtedly be "seem". Everyone is entitled to feel the way that they do and until they prove themselves otherwise, I say let them think what...

What makes a movie worth owning? Vs. renting it?
Your overall interest in the movie, I suppose. In example, I enjoyed Napoleon Dynamite, but I don't find it a necessary movie to buy because it got a couple laughs out of me. It's somewhat of a cult classic- a cult of which, I wouldn't care to be apart of.
On the other hand, Erin Brockovich touched me on a very deep level. It brought a tear to my eye, and it allowed me to think...

You have, on one hand, a hard-working mother and on the other, a "couch potato" that lives in his mother's basement. I'd actually prefer the books above all else, because it's alot more educational- not to mention entertaining- than a radio and/or TV would be, in my opinion.

I'm not sure of how many accounts people have, nor the number of "identities," because I wasn't aware up until this point that people actually DID it in such excess. I'm surprised to learn that there are so many doing it. Not only that but for the lame reasons that they are.

Yes. And ironically, it was the same character's name as your example. I pronounced Hermione as "Hermoine"- when the first movie came out, I laughed my head off at the actual pronounciation.

A. What makes you say that you are right ? What can u prove? B. OR Is it because you are stubborn & determinate?
A. I say I'm right most of the time because I believe that I am. I see things from every angle, which is why I'm a great mediator in some cases and won't leave an arguement with "I'm right, so drop the subject." I'm also able to admit when I'm wrong.
B. No. I CAN be stubborn, but it has nothing to do with this. Lol.
Answer to:
Is it true that teenage guys only want to be with a girl to get into their pants?
No. The idea that a guy wants to be with a lady to have sex with her is dependent upon his AND her character. I knew couples in high school that were really in love with one another and sex wasn't even on their agenda. It varies from person to person.
To answer your question, it's not true.

One of the BEST questions in awhile!
Yes, they were on a break, if not for the obvious, then because we all know Ross wouldn't had purposely- or willingly- cheated on Rachel.

They're not "popular," per se. They're simply considered superlative (not through popularity, but because of their answers and personality) and have been at the site alot longer than others.
I don't mean to name names, but we're obviously speaking of the Jodie44's, Auntie Em's, Firebrand's, and Stableboy's of Answerbag.

When your waiter/waitress brings you the check and says, "I'll be your cashier when you are ready", what were they before that?
They were your waiter/waitress, and in the event of letting you know that they're also a cashier, they're telling you of their many talents.
They're also informing you that they're working a double shift, so "you ought to be generous with your tip or I'll remember your face next time you come here and I'm the cook."

If you like your friend but another friend doesn't what do you do?
Well, clearly, the answer to this is to be a good friend to both of them. What one person feels or thinks shouldn't affect what you do. You're your own person and shouldn't have to choose between friends.
Now, if one of your friends is wealthier than the other...
Joke.

Alot of the time we, as a people, dislike the things that are completely out of our control and dwell alot longer than we should on them. I'm listening to somewhat loud music through my speakers that sit next to my computer, and my cat is sitting right on my desk. Will the loud music affect my cat's hearing? She's like 14 years old if that matters.
Honestly, I'm not sure, but if your cat is sitting through the music with seemingly no problem, I'd say she's either, 1/ fine, or 2/ already deaf. On the other hand, if your concern lies deeper than this I'd suggest that you turn the music down just to be on the safe side.

The best bet is to either end the relationship and continue on with your life or sort through your issues together, which could possibly result in a stronger bond between the two of you. Then again, it may not. Life's tricky that way...

I see answerbag dying within six months, particularly because of the institution of 'levels' and the popularity of 'nonsense questions' and 'crazy thoughts' (et al) categories. AB has become more fluff than product. Agree? Disagree? Google wins?
Disagree. Answerbag has a substantial amount of what some would consider "no nonsense" questions and even more great answers from the users here. I believe that part of the reason that Answerbag has such a tight-knit community (see retroglide and pattijo's answers) is partly due to the Outside the Bag and/or Crazy Thoughts categories, where we're all able to let our hair...

Fold the paper vertically, pull out the markers, stencils, and anything else you'll need for this project, then get to work. When you start to do the inside make sure the paper is right-side-up, so that the reader won't open the card to upside down gibberish. Above all else, be creative!

Does the AB staff ever log in under someone else's account/screen name? I was just looking at an AB staff member's profile, and it said they answered the question but the answer came up with another SN.
I doubt that they'd do that- they have far more better things to do, like create a completely new and improved website as such, lol.

When the new year starts, how long does it take you to remember posting the new year on everything you sign?
Considering this is an older question and it actually IS the new year now, I'd have to say that it took me until late February for it to sink in that it was now 2007 and dating papers as 2006 was a complete waste of time AND ink.

Rings! Particularly because I have slender fingers and I find that rings- silver rings especially- complements them. I have two specific rings- one from my mother and the other from my sister- that mean alot to me, and both of them go everywhere that I do- the rings, not my mother and sister, lol.
They're like my trademark. Again, talking about the rings...

Check out the newest blog, DBike. There are alot of people's opinions there.
Answer to:
Looks aside, what do you think about Answerbag's new features (sliding scale points, etc)?
I'm happy for the staff. They've accomplished something that they've obviously been working hard on for awhile. With that said, I thought that the previous layout was fine, lol. The page doesn't appear excessively big on my computer, so naturally, that's not a concern of mine.
I AM, however, having a couple of issues with my profile. Aside from that, as I said before,...

Yes, I have. Awhile ago I wrote a song about superficiality. I have no idea what genre it'd belong to, mainly because I wrote it just to get something off of my chest. I wasn't thinking that it'd be a hit on the charts; I just enjoyed singing it.

Which is worse? I can't say- both irritate me.

Do you have a particular phobia?
I have Arachnaphobia. There's not a real story behind it- I just don't like spiders and never have. I'm deathly afraid of them and won't go near any kind with a 20 foot pole. The sight of them makes my flesh crawl and having one in the vicinity of me is likely to make me cry like baby. If a spider ever finds its way physically ON me, I'd likely faint.
