I'm listening to somewhat loud music through my speakers that sit next to my computer, and my cat is sitting right on my desk. Will the loud music affect my cat's hearing? She's like 14 years old if that matters. Honestly, I'm not sure, but if your cat is sitting through the music with seemingly no problem, I'd say she's either, 1/ fine, or 2/ already deaf. Do you have a particular phobia? I have Arachnaphobia. There's not a real story behind it- I just don't like spiders and never have. I'm deathly afraid of them and won't go near any kind with a 20 foot pole. The sight of them makes my flesh crawl and having one in the vicinity of me is likely to make me cry like baby. If a spider ever finds its way physically ON me, I'd likely faint.

My first impression is obviously appearance because it's the only thing that I have to go by before actually learning anything about him- but I find that after I've gotten to know him, his personality shines through alot more than looks. The personality also comes in handy when he wakes up next to me with morning breath and nappy hair.
