The class was 90 minutes long in a room heated to about 100 degrees. I drank 64 oz during class, and then another 64 oz in the hour following class. A local city manager is changing his sex from male to female. The City Board wants to fire him. He has done a good job in the past 15 yrs. Board members say they do not have appropriate bathroom accommodations for him/her. Is this fair? I think this may be illegal. He could contact his EEO (equal employment officer) at work to file a discrimination complaint. Different employers are under slightly different sets of rules, but it would be illegal to fire a federal civil service employee for a change of sex.
