Today we found four kittens in our garden. There was absolutely no sign of a mother cat about. There was a dead cat of similar colour found at beginning of the week. Kittens approx 4 weeks old- could they have survived this long without mother? yes! cats are very Instinctual creatures.. they can survive on their own as soon as their eyes open fully, which happens when they are a week to 10 days. they probably havent been getting enough nutrition though, you may want to take them to a vet and get them check for problems (urinary track infections ect.) and have them get their shots. hope i helped!!
