I have been married to my husband for 16 years. We were married in Texas. I found out after we were married that he was not divorced from his previous wife. That divorce became final a year later. Now I want out -- Do I have to get a divorce? My battery light went on one day. The next day I was driving and the car radio would not turn on. I drove for a little while and t came back up. All interior lights and the headlights started to dim. The car then shut off. IS this my alternotor? I would say it certainly is your alternator. A simple test..engine running, headlights on.. when the engine is at idle are the lights dim, when you rev the engine do the lights brighten? If so - it's your alternator. Best I can do from here, sorry! You can buy a cheap but good one from an auto dismantellers. Happy hunting.
