I am a new runner training for a 10K in 4 months. I can run 3 miles now. Is it better to lower my times before adding more milage or to add more milage and then focus on lower times? You need to build up your milage first and foremost. You can do some speed work along. For example, Monday get in your long distance, Tuesday don't run as far but include some sprint and stair work. Wed-back to dist, etc. You should allow for one day to "rest".

What's the easiest diet out there and most effective? I don't believe there is ONE diet that is the end all for everyone. What works for me may not work for you and vice-versa. There are a few hints however, to make diets of all kinds work better: Exercise, Drink plenty of Water, especially just before you eat, eat smaller portions (of whatever you want--especially a craving) and chew your food slowly. I have also known people who did not bruise until a day or so later. I guess just depends on where and how the toe gets broken and also how the person bruises normally.

It is not too late to have him fixed. I believe that when the cat is fixed, the Vet removes the spraying sack (or whatever it is called) along with everything else.

When the police come up behind you with lights on I know I need to stop, but what if it's a busy highway? I don't think it's safe to pull over on a busy highway (in fact it's illegal right?) so is it ok to keep driving, slowly, to a safer place? As long as you signal that you are going to stop...by slowing your speed and putting on your flashers, you can continue on until you reach a safe place. This should be as soon as possible.

So i've only had my period since sunday and monday & it seemed to be heavy but now it seems like i'm done bc nothing like coming out on my panties or anything . Periods normally last from 3 to 7 days. However, stress and other factors can cause that to change. It can make your periond last longer or shorter. It can delay it or make it come sooner. There are other factors to consider, also. If your period is always abnormal, or if it is always regular, if you should miss your next period, you may need to see a doctor.

Most resturants will cook it to the way you like it. Fast food resturants cook alot of it and it is usually pretty uniform on how it comes out. I like mine close to crispy but not quite. My husband likes it cripy. My daughter likes it soft.

Why do cartoon characters, when they wear clothes, usually either wear shirts, hats, shoes, and ties or pants but are hardly ever fully dressed? I would think just to keep the wardrope and character as simply as possible. Then whenever it is necessary, the cartoonest can add clothes to make a point (such as a tuxedo top for Bugs Bunny when he is the conductor).

Why is "Be Yourself" so commonly used as advice for everything? I think it is commonly used because it makes so much sense. You can not trually change anyone but yourself, You have to be comfortable in your own skin in order to even have a chace to be happy. I know it sounds easy but it can be the hardest thing to do.

Is it really possible for a woman to suddenly go into labor and give birth to a healthy baby without ever having known or suspected that she was pregnant? How could you not know? If the child giving birth was young enough and did not realize the changes her body was making. Young girls don't always have regular periods. A cat has moved into our house, she is absolutly lovely, if a bit timid. Our other cat doesn't seam overly happy, but hasn't run away or anything, however, I love him, and wouldn't want to lose him... (i will continue in an answer) I would take it to the vet's to get it looked at. You may want to check lost and found ads in any local papers and check with the vet's office and your local animal shelter. The other cat should be fine with the new addition but you need to make sure the other cat is healthy before any long exposure. Best of Luck!

Baptists and other christian faiths usually believe that you need to be of a certain age to understand that you are accepting Jesus as your savior. If it is a wood floor, try mopping the floor with water and vinegar. If carpeted or if it is elsewhere, you can run vinegar through your coffee or tea maker (it will clean them also). If you have neither, boil a pot of vinegar...get lots of steam going. That should help.

Is there a relative of yours that has passed away who you wished you could have spent more time with? My Dad passed away in Sept. I still miss him terribly. I loved him very much and I am jealous of my siblings because they are older and therefore had him longer than I did.

I have HUGE TRUST issues due to past relationships and being cheated on. As well as being lied to. I always feel like my GF is hiding something from me and always feel the need to PROVE to myself that she is not. Any suggestions on how to get over this? If this is a relationship you trually think you might want to make permanent then you need to get counseling to learn methods to help you overcome these issues. There is no guarntee that you won't get hurt again but you can learn steps to help yourself with the issues.

Should people be kept in a artificial coma for years, if they had a serious accident? I think that you have to be very clear with your loved ones about your opinion on this matter. You also need to find out others feeling about their own situations. I guess I would not be for it if there was no hope of recovery. My husband feels that he wants to be kept alive.

Why are girls so complicated? Girls are not any more complicated than boys. Every person is an individual...each may be more or less complicated than other but I don't think it is based on gender. Should convicted felons be given back their rights after a long period of time, e.g. 10+ years, where they are out of prison and don't commit any crimes? Should the severity of their crime be a factor or should they all be treated the same? This a very good and difficult answer. I know at this point, they are not give their rights back. I would not know how to judge this case versus that case to see if the severity of the crimes warrant further punishment. I guess I trually don't know what would be a correct answer to this. I just hope I never am in the situation to have to find out.

I have been haveing symptoms of pregnancy ...breasts are very sore and craving, bloating...weight gain... i havent had my period in 2 months. its irregular but not this much. i have taking 4 tests and they are all negitive. do you think im pregnant? You could be, in spite of the negative tests results. Either way, you probably should see a doctor and get it cleared up for sure. Stress can delay your periods as well as other things.

He will get what you ask for and he extends credit for the month. The local hardware keeps his prices competitive enough that it is not worth driving into town when you need a quick pick up.

As I am sure you know, if he is not ready, there is nothing you can do to stop him. Even if you have him committed (and you can-legally), it will only clean him up temporarily. If you had to choose between the two, would you choose to have to experience a hurricane or a tornado? Tough question...I live in an area where we get both. I have lived though both. A tornado is more directly intense but a hurricaine covers a lot of area. Of couse, a hurricaine usually includes tornados but I would probably chose the hurricaine simply because you usually do get plenty of advance warning.

At that light a weight, you should be OK but if you start feeling any unusual pain (aside from normal tiredness), get it checked out!

Is it my responsibility to play mom? It sounds like you and your boyfriend have a committed relationship. I like to substitute ground beef with ground deer meat in certain recipes. Anyone ever do this? Is it healthier? I have done that many times. I treat it the same way as I treat regular ground meat. It is healthier, especially if mixed with sausages spices but not with the added beef fat some people put to take out the gamey taste.

I have a frigidaire electric self cleaning oven i hit the cleaning botton with the door open and it set the lock on the door how can i get it to release so the over will turn on again Mine has to run through the cycle; then it unlocks on its own. Good luck!

In the U.S., it was The Emancipation Proclamation that freed black slaves, what freed them in Britain? The Emancipation proclamation freed the slaves only in the states that left the union. It did not free slaves in the states that stayed with the union. I am afraid I don't know what freed slaves in Britain...I thought that they had long before us freed them but I don't know how it was done.

As part of the project, I took index card with vasaline smeared on them and had people start their cars and I held the card near the exhaust pipe. As long as the paper work is done to keep it official for the Catholic church, you can pretty much do what you want. I have found, however, that it sometimes depends on the priest. My brother-in-law had a Catholic Baptism for his daughter and then a Lutheran devotion.

For a $60 shoplifting case in which i was not arrested but will be going to court should i contact a lawyer? The police came and told me i will be getting a court date in the mail. Wont they probably just give me a fine either way? it is my first offense. Having recently been involved with a false accusation, I would at least contact a lawyer. After explaining your circumstances, they may not need to accompany you butat least you will know your rights and have someone to fight for you and your best interests. Most lawyers will offer a free consultation.

If conception where to take place on the 28th of December, and period where supposed to begin on January 8th when is a good time to take an at home pregnancy test and expect it to be valid? The test kits mostly say that they can be used up the first day of your missed period. I know I waited about a week. Stress (among many things) can delay your period.
