Answer to:
When did sexual history or sexual experience become such a terrible thing? And why is it that a person who is not a virgin who isn't married seems to be percieved as tainted by many members of our society?
Its accepted today which is sad.
I view these people as tainted because for me I consider sleeping with someone else prior to your marriage as nothing less then adultry.
I belive for both men and woman your spouse should be the only person to have you, unless of course you get re-married after their death. However if that is not the reason, your spouse should be the only person to have...

What do you think the United States would do if 15 US sailors were seized by Iranians??? as opposed to the British sailors being taken prisoner...
I would have given them a week to give them back. Then I would have dropped a few bombs and see if that didn't change their mind.
If they killed any or all of them I would have bombed them for a month for each person they killed. I would see if we couldn't catch that comedian that calls himself the "president" of Iran in some of the bombing.
Peace is maintained...
Answer to:
A friend of mine was raped recently while at work. She just found out that she is pregnant, and has every reason to believe that the child is the product of that rape. Is it right for her to abort the child?
I would advise against it but I wouldn't hold it against her since she didn't do it by choice.
If she can't bear to take care of it, then I would advise she put it up for adoption. But there are other good options that don't involve killing the baby who is blameless in all of this.

Are the major automobile manufacturer's lobbying to keep public transportation alternatives, such as metro buses and light rails systems, from developing so they can sell more cars?
No because you will need a car anyways because the country is just too damn large to not have a car.
However the people that are doing it is the oil companies. The oil companies have the automobile manufacturers and the government by the ball sack
You have the right idea, but the wrong enemy. The oil companies are the ones responsible not the car companies.

If he says "The force be with you" then I would say "And also with you."
Natural Lutheran reaction because Lutherans say to eachother (especially at service) "The Lord be with you." and the correct response is "And also with you." I am not joking I have said that during Star Wars when one of the characters said "The force be with you."

If you knew a woman who was pregnant, who had 8 kids already, three who were deaf, two who were blind, one mentally retarded, and she had syphilis; would you recommend that she have an abortion?
No of course not.
First of all just because those previous 8 kids have problems doesn't mean that this new kid will.
Secondly I doubt any of those kids that are alive would rather be dead then dealing with their condition. I mean I think you have to get into pretty bad straights to prefer death over your current condition.

Should it be up to others to decide morality, or is it a personal decision?
Of course not you know we should just get rid of all laws because laws are a judgement on morality and who needs to be judged on their morality? We should just have a system where people do whatever the hell they want.
I don't think we should judge a person. But I do think that if there is no societal morality or no laws then our entire system would break down around us.

I don't think it makes it in general any more likely or less likely to be successful. I have 3 or 4 cousins that have only had one boyfriend in their lives and they are married to them right now. (And been married for about 5 years).
And I'm gonna agree with Kate also in that its how you handle that particular relationship that determines the likelyhood of success.

Therefore when I get anywhere over 185 I start to diet until I get back below 180. So typically my diets only last about a week and I'm back down to a better weight.

Do you think it's appropriate for married men to be out with his friends on a regular basis (once a week)? When my husband does this, he gets home between 12:00 and 2:00 in the morning. He's 35 and we've been married 6 years-it's getting old.
I think the question is if this is harming your marriage in any way. Do you have children or something that he is missing out on. What would you be doing if he was not out with his friends.
Maybe you could talk him into going out only once every other week or something.
But listen you need to find something in your marriage that this is really harming. Are you jealous of the time...

What is the thing that makes it hardest to be your religion in today's society?
The society itself's non chalent attitude to it and their inability to look in the mirror and realize that the person that is the cause of 90% of their problems is the person they are looking at.
This society sits here with 50% divorce rates, more and more children born out of wedlock with deadbeats for dads and many not even knowing their real father. Women living with their...

I don't see any scriptural support for this assertion. There is no way of telling what age we will appear to be in heaven. Most people think we will appear in a form which is totally unlike what we see here on earth and it will be ageless.
Remember the form you appear on earth is just your body. Your body is not you, your soul is you that is what defines you. Your body just houses...

I wouldn't mind adopting a child. I definatly want to have some genetic children of my own too but I'd adopt after having some children of my own or perhaps after they had grown and left the house. (I know a couple that adopted 6 kids after their real children grew and left the house)

There have been a few cases, in almost all of them the woman is rather young (In her teens) where she does not recognize that she is pregnant until she goes into labor.
It is rare but it does happen. Apparently in a few women its also possible that they can still have their monthly cycle during pregnancy. Or at least that is what I'm told.

First of all a child can't choose jack squat for themselves.
Secondly circumcision is only child abuse in your eyes.

Your local pastor is definatly not getting rich doing what he's doing. In any other field a person with his education and the hours spent working would be making double if not triple what he is.

Pizza hut is dead to me so right now I'm not purchasing their products. This is only temporary though.

The second offense was I was out there (After they had already gotten on notice from the first offense) and i was with my family. I ordered a medium pizza specifically for me....

Depends on what I was doing that day and what I was feeling like.
I eat fast food, I just don't eat a lot of it.
If I was going to dance practice or a dance competition later I'd get some subway.
If I was hungry and I wasn't going to do anything later but veg out then I'd go for something heavier.

If you are purchasing goods, and the person behind the counter is incredibly surly and rude, disinterested, or obviously does not want to be there, how do you react? I find it hard not to say something - after all, they get paid to be there. Thoughts?
I try to bring humor into the situation or lightly joke at their demeanor.
Or if they really look bad I try to empathize with them and say "Bad day?"
If they are having a bad day then I'm not going to beat them up for it, I'd rather try and brighten their day a bit.

DON'T DO IT!
You lose 60% of the value on that car in two years.
If its a $30,000 car when you buy it in just two years its going to be worth $12,000. Thats an $18,000 loss in two years.
Get a two year old car or older and you will save a boatload of cash and it will last just as long.

Do she get to shoot free throws for her team or no foul and take the ball out?
Thats a ridiculous situation for anyone older then 10.
But if she was shooting at the wrong basket she'd be unlikely to be fouled because the points would go to the other team if she made it. But if that where to occur by some freak accident then it would be considered a non-shooting foul. Take the ball out unless the team is in the bonus or double bonus.

What is the most important factor to you when buying a new car?
That you have a million dollars.
Honestly if you want my opinion don't buy a NEW car unless you are a millionare.
A new car loses 60% of its value over a 2 year period. If you buy a $30,000 car in two years its worth $12,000. You are losing $18,000 in two years on that car.
However if you buy a 2 year old used car someone else takes that 18,000 hit and you get a car that will...

I was never for invading Iraq. I went to two protests against it. But did America listen to me . . . Hell no.
But now I don't want to run off and leave Iraq because I'm not willing to subject millions of innocent Iraqi Men, Women, and children to the ethnic cleansing thats soon to follow.
But will America listen to me on that? No . . .

I don't condone what they do and I think they either don't have a ton of respect for themselves or fate has pushed them in such a way that they feel this is the only way to make a decent living. I feel sorry for them and I think someone needs to reach these people and help them out in at least finding a respectable job if they want it.

My fiance cheated on me. He wants to try to make it right. He needs to prove a lot and I need time to make a decision, but what do I do in the meantime? Do I tell my friends and family and risk them hating him if we go through with marriage?
Well I think if you tell your friends and family they are going to discourage you from marrying him.
So if you want to truely make an independent decision then you have to keep it under wraps.
Now I don't think that is necessarily a good thing. Sometimes you need someone to just grab you by the shoulders and say "Honey let him go"

You don't, God creates angels as seperate beings from humans. The idea that humans who go to heaven become angels is a fallacy and I have not yet seen any biblical evidence to support it.

Would you ever allow your child to drink while underage if you were supervising?
Yes under my supervision only when they are over 16. And only small amounts.
I would teach moderation very early and lack of moderation or drinking outside of my supervision will lead to consequences.

Answer to:
Have you ever been in handcuffs? What was running through your head?
Yes actually
I was working for a abused women's shelter and my main job was to go out to local schools and roleplay a domestic abuse situation so that the kids can identify abuse and lets face it most kids who grow up in abusive households think that the abuse is normal.
I would act out a senario where the kid left their basketball in the driveway and I would run over it and it would...

Why do people abbreviate Valentine's Day as VD, when VD stands for venerial disease? One is supposedly a romantic holiday and the other is anything but romantic.
I always abbreviated it SAD. (Singles awareness day).

Probably the royal family although there are some people there I don't think I'd want to be related to.

If you could smack one person up side the head everyday with no consequences, who would that one person be?
I'm actually surprised no one wrote my name down.
I think it would have to be my brother. He has a tendency to do things that defy logic or reason or understanding.

Answer to:
Your husband-to-be (or flip it if you are a guy, this actually happened to me) spends the night before your wedding in one of your bridesmaid's hotel room (you stay apart because of tradition, but you didn't agree to THIS). What is your reaction?
Unless the groomsman in question happened to be her brother or a cousin I think I would be asking him what the hell was going on.
And if there wasn't a mighty good explaination I think I'd call the wedding off. Tough to do on such short notice but sometimes you've got to do those things.

I had intercourse with my girlfriend last week and she will be one week late on her period this thrusday. Can she be pregant by me?
I think its pretty obvious that she could be pregant by you.
What do you think your sperm doesn't work or can't make a girl pregnant?
If she is pregnant I urge you in the strongest possible terms to step up to your responsibilities as a father and help her to either care for your child or ensure that its adopted by good loving family.

Proverbs 4:23-Above all else, guard you heart, for it effects everything you do. My heart is in love with an atheist and my heart is left unguarded, is this a sin?
I feel sorry for you, I've often wondered myself how I could handle it if I fell in love with a non-christian.
I would consult your pastor if he's good. I'm blessed with a very good pastor that I feel like I could approach with problems like these.

How many relationships have you had since you started dating?
Just one in high school it was short lived because I went off to college and she moved away. I have no idea what happened to her.
My experiences in high school though had caused a general lack of confidence. (especially one particular instance) It was another two years before I asked another girl out again. (Which she ended up rejecting me anyways) So in a lot of ways my lack of...

People keep trying to tell me that being gay is a lifestyle choice that people can make. I'm failing at it. Has anyone, personally, ever chosen to be gay, and succeeded? Do you personally know anyone who has?
I know you will fight me on this but I see it as sort of a mental disorder which is affected by many different factors then a lifestyle choice.
I don't know what fundamentialist Christian came up with the lifestyle choice idea but I have a sneaking suspicion that he was bisexual and in his mind because he was attracted to both sexes, it was a lifestyle choice.
