A husband is/was supposed to protect and provide for his wife, but it is my understanding that Eve was not created from a bone from his head to rule over him nor a bone from his foot to be ruled by him...but from his rib to rule beside him. A wife is/was expected to defer to her husband's judgment in matters as they were all supposed to be geared towards her safety and well being.

Does anyone take ultram/tramadol? If so, anything good/bad to say about it? I take Tramadol. Good-it does what it's designed to do without impeding my ability to function. Bad-it sometimes makes me itch, I'm not allergic, I just itch . If I take it on an empty stomach, I get heartburn and I am a bit concerned about liver damage, as with any NSAID, so I just take it as needed instead of how it's prescribed. It is said there is some risk of becoming dependent.

I cheated on my new bf of a week last night... believe me I know what ur thinking but it has only been a week... I dont know if I still wanna try wit him or not if i do, do I tell him? For heaven's sake...seems to me that if you are "cheating" after only a week, you are not ready for a relationship. Maybe you should just date for a while and not form a relationship or have a b/f (which is a commitment of sorts) until you are ready.

They are answers which require no thought, and usually receive no argument, therefore, no downrates. That is not a judgement and I am not saying that some people only answer those kinds of questions. They are just really easy to answer. Most people rate the questions they answer, so it just stands to reason that they will get a lot of points.

I want to go to church but im confused. I've always gone to a baptist church but my boyfriend's family goes to a methodist church. I dont know the difference is. Can someone tell me? There isn't a lot of difference....depending on the preacher, of course. I was raised as a Baptist, but I feel just as comfortable in a Methodist church as I do in a Baptist one. Sometimes more so as Baptist preachers tend to get overly "enthusiastic" and scream a lot. Sometimes Baptists tend to be a bit hypocritical as well.

They are not supposed to do that, but I know for a fact that some of them will. And then deny it when confronted. The only way they are supposed to discuss your account with anyone (including a spouse who is not on the contract) is if they have your permission to do so. A reputable company will not.

I have known a couple of guys who paid child support (and was not ordered to do so by the court) simply because they loved the children and wanted to make sure they were provided for. What's the WORST thing that has ever happened in your life? Something so bad it has left you completely scarred. The death of my 3 month old grandson. I am not necessarily scarred, but my heart was broken for a very long time.

My best friend is always trying to be the star.Even though we both deserve some credit..and at times she's being an arrogant jerk. im thinking this is just my jealousy..since she's always stealing the spotlight..What should i do? let her have it if she needs it that badly. Most of the time people are able to see through attitudes like this and class usually wins out in the end.

An arrogant co-worker who sits next to me, went and put a large sticker on my car window (thinking it was funny I guess) The sticky stuff doesn't come off. I am pissed. Messing with personal property, shouldn't that be a write up offense? That would have pissed me off too. I hate for people to put stickers on my windows and bumpers. I use DeSolve It...it works great and won't harm anything else. You can even wash your hair with it to remove gum and such. Nice orange scent, too.

The ones at the top are making outrageous salaries and getting equally outrageous bonuses with funds intended to "bail out" the company. I stepped on something once, I never saw what it was (Dr said it was probably one of those fuzzy, brown caterpillars...though I have never heard of a stinging caterpillar!). How can I avoid inviting some of our wedding guests to the formal reception afterward? The reception is usually viewed as a "gesture of appreciation" for the people who attended the wedding. It would be a bit tacky not to invite the wedding guests to the reception.

Hi... my 4 week old baby is still sleeping a lot and I have to wake her for a feed. She's still only 7lb 6oz and although she's not losing weight she's only gaining a small amount each week. I try so hard to keep her awake for a feed but it's impossible. Unless she is missing several feedings due to not waking, I wouldn't worry too much. Babies usually have their own schedules and will let you know when they are hungry. If she falls asleep during feedings, I would do things which would keep her awake. Change positions, talk to her, etc. If you are really concerned, I would advise you to speak to her pediatrician about it.

Would you change your opinion to agree with someone dear to you who is on the death bed even when you know it to be untrue? If it would make them happy or ease their mind..sure I would, or at least agree with them. That is not the time to think of yourself, when someone dear to you is dying, your convictions should be the very least of your concerns.

The father of my child has been no help with his child and now wants to get full custody. Could he get it? Usually, the only way this would happen is for him to prove that you are unfit, which is very hard to do...unless you are unfit, of course. The fact that he has had nothing to do with his child will also make him look pretty bad and work in your favor. Let him explain that to the judge.
