I'm in the first few months of dating a single father. He has a "3 month rule" before anyone can meet his daughter. However, the "rule" means all of our plans must be around not meeting the daughter. What should I think? He is a Good Dad. He doesn't want his daughter to get hurt if you end up being a not so great potential "stepmom".

Palpation is okay for guessing and usually i am pretty close but All these methods are only estimates anyhow.

Sometimes if a neutered male does happen to breed with your female. She may have what is called a False pregnancy and have ALL the symptoms of being pregnant. Otherwise I would suspect an accidental romantic meeting in the backyard of some sort.

If it was a sting of some sort benadryl might work but if it was a spider or snake bite a vet is your best option. They can run some blood tests to see if it is allergic or pioson. I think uneducated people are afraid of any dog that resembles a pitbull. People also are to blame not really the breed if more people would socialize there animals instead of hiding them from strangers their would be less biting going on.

My 10 mth old mini schnauzer has unexpectantly gone on heat for the second time & just mated for the first time with my male mini schnauzer. I am now keeping them apart but if she is pregnant should I let her have the litter or terminate her pregnancy. Hopefully she only bred to him once and maybe only got pregnant with one or two pups. Or maybe not at all. How old is the male? I personnally would go ahead and let her have the pups (In my opinion it would do just as much damage to terminate it) I would not allow them to breed again though. And I would skip a heat before you breed her again.

I have a purebred collie male and female. How many times should I allow the male to tie? Like EK said every breeder is different. I generally let him do what he would do naturally and breed as often as he likes. Sometimes though if you have more than one female this method is not advised if he is breeding one female everyday then another females comes in heat he may be worn out. But with just one female it shouldn't hurt to leave them be. It is a matter of personal preference.

When her temp drops down close or bleow 98 she will be having her pups within 24 hours. My poodle has had greenish yellow diarrhea for the past two days. Is this color something to worry about? the color can sometimes be from the food they eat. the fact that it is diarrhea though is cause for concern. A friend of mine was raped recently while at work. She just found out that she is pregnant, and has every reason to believe that the child is the product of that rape. Is it right for her to abort the child? There are people like me that will adopt the child if she doesn't want it. My daughter is just about one and refuses to sleep in a crib. sometimes i put her there and she crys but never goes to sleep. so i have resorted to letting her sleep with me is that a bad thing how do i stop it. ive tried everything and she wont budge. Here is something you could try: Get her crib mattress and lay it on the floor in your room, see if she will sleep there. Then if that goes well tell her you will get her a big girl bed and let her choose her own princess blanket if she will try her room. Move on from there!! Good Luck!!
