When my bf travels long distances, I ask him to call me when he gets there b/c he drives an old car that breaks down a lot. He usually doesn't call me til several hours later. I tell him this is disrespectful, but he never changes. Am I being nitpicky? I always tell my mom after leaving her house for a 5 hour drive back to mine that I will call when I get there. I usually forget and she ends up calling me a few hours after I have arrived. Maybe he just forgets too. Driving can be very tiresome to some. My girlfriend might be pregnant, she has taken 3 tests and all of them were insufficent. She has all the signs of being pregant. Sickness, moodyness, breasts inlargement. But what I dont get is how the test isn't reading anything? A doctor can give a more accurate reading of pregnancy through ultrasound. I was given a test at the health department which read positive but at my first Dr. visit he gave me an ultrasound to be positive.

When someone brings up a word you don't know in conversation, do you ask them for the definition, try to figure it out from the context, make a mental note and look it up later or...? It depends on who Im speaking with. If its my mom or BF I will ask them. If its a boss a co worker or someone I dont speak with regularly I go on like I know what they are saying and I find out the definition later. I can usually figure it out though.

Natural childbirth hurts like hell. I wouldnt trade it for anything in the world though. I had an epidural after 13 hours of labor but it didnt take so I felt every bit of everything. While in the moment I kept hearing the drink sloshing in my stomach..he had a moment and let out a cry and I started to laugh. Found out I was pregnant. When I told him he first was scared and was freaking out. We decided to have an abortion. I went and couldn't do it BUT I told him I did...I finally told him during and argument and now he hates me. I don't know what to do. Women have been known to raise children on their own and do very well. You also have the option of adoption. If he hates you for making that decision than you are better off without him.

Yes it is our duty to make sure our kids are safe but it is also the duty of the lifeguard or safety person as well when we take our children to a place where these types of people are employed. I would never turn my back on my child while at a pool or public place regardless of the others who are being paid to watch over him..some do.

If a stolen check was written out to a business, is it up to the business to remberse(sp?) the person whose checks were stolen? The business did not check ID at the time that the check was written. Someone stole one of my checks and bought a chainsaw with it. Luckily I didnt have enough money in the bank to cover the check. I had to file a police report (I knew who did it) and the bank refunded the money I was out due to bouncing a check. The store was not liable for giving me the money back and had the check cleared the bank would not have refunded my money either.

Is it unfair for me to make my kids go hungry for the rest of the night when they waste nearly all their supper (food they do like), they usually start crying about how hungry they are right around bed time but i wont let them snack cos they wasted When my son does this I save what he hasnt eaten and then when he cries hungry I make him eat it. I dont think what you are doing is unfair. I think that is one way in which our children try and test us to see if they can get what they want.
