When I use the S-Video jack on my 20" CRT TV, there is a translucent vertical band moving from right to left through the image. This problem began after I moved. Moving the TV and/or cables decreases (or increases) the problem. Can this be corrected? Sounds like you have a problem with a bad cable, or interference. I would recommend replacing the cable. My Wrangler heater fan only works in the HIGH positon. The other posiitons are dead. What's up ? Its a 2004 CJ. The variable resistor control has had several of the "pathways" burnt out. It is a common problem in newer cars. The only way to fix it is to find a replacement and replace the variable resistor under the knob in the panel. Depending on how mechanically inclined you are, you may need to take it to a dealer for servicing.

I have a Washburn WG-228. Whenever I touch a string, my amp buzzes loudly. What could cause this? (bad soldering of the input jack?) It sounds like there is a problem with a "Ground Loop". Somehow your strings have become connected to the input/output jack and have power applied to them, and when you touch the strings, your body being grounded completes the circut causing the buzzing in your amp. So, yes, bad soldering of the input jack could cause this problem.
