i would put a thick layer of newspapers as isolation, and then i would put hay and a layer of cotton wool above that. the cotton is really soft and warm to cuddle up in.

maybe you should not focus so much on wanting to be perfect. just be who you are, and if that is not good enough for them, then they are not worth it and they don't even deserve you.
