If you could only choose an extreme position, would you be a PETA nazi or hunter or dog fight operator?
Animal rights groups often kill people, which doesn't make sense to me. I hate cruelty to animals, but PETA, et al, make me sick.
If I could only take an extreme position then I would fight for the animals every time. There is no way on this earth that I could inflict cruelty on one. I don't believe though that you would have to kill humans to be a member of PETA.

Which abrasive British Prime Minister had the nickname Lord Pumice Stone?
This was the nickname of "Lord Palmerston" He was a Prime minister of Queen Victoria, he served 2 terms in office, and was in place almost continuously between 1807 and 1865 when he died, aged 80. He gained the nickname due to his somewhat abrasive, no-nonsense approach. Another nickname of his was "Pam", of which I'm sure he was not amused.

Who is the greatest movie heroine of all time, and why?
I would have to say Bette Davies. She was the first of the female Hollywood stars who would really get into character and allow herself to look shabby and dishevelled. The others of the era always looked perfect no matter what the circumstances. She also fought the studio system for better roles for women, the first to do so. A gutsy broad indeed.

You see this so often, kids running riot while the mother sits blithely by, seemingly unaware of their little monsters antics. It drives me crazy and I have commented in the past. they usually say "oh leave em alone they're only little" to my mind the best time in their life to start teaching them right from wrong, and proper behaviour. Once they get older it is often too late...

How much of the humor in Monty Python's Flying Circus goes over my head because I'm American?
There was a m/p scetch in which some of the dialogue went "They washed their hands they washed their face and then they washed their naughty bits!" I'm reliably informed that U.S. T.V. blanked out the last 2 words which in my opinion left it to your imagination and made it much worse. Don't know if it was because they didn't get it though or just a mad bit of censorship.

I need help..I'm always turning red...not just blushing...i'm turning red all over my face like a tomato...i'm taking some pills about it but they dont work...Is there any remedie, cream or other pills that can cure this? i'm very desperate!
sounds like a condition called apnea rosacea I suffer from this on occasion in my case it is brought on by alchohol spicy foods or extreme heat. my ever helpful doctor(lol) just told me to avoid these things a tinted make-up that contains a little green pigment can remedy it somewhat cos green cancels out red hope this helps

My Partner and I have a 7 months old semi long haired male kitten who runs up the curtains, any idea how to stop him ??( he's named MACKIE)after our clan "MACKAY"
I had a cat that did that, (Garfield) it was so funny I liked to watch him so put up old curtains I didnt care about and he got it out of his system eventually but if you are not as indulgent as me (or daft) or can't stand the thought of bad drapery the water pistol should do the trick. By the way I have a Westie called Mackie great name

You should normally co-ordinate your shoes with your handbag and a good look is for them to match your blouse if possible so brown shades would probably be best

I used to be a member of one of these panels that rated British veiwing figures it is quite a complicated process you have to log everything you watch even if you recorded it 4 later veiwing and even if you watched snippets while channel surfing it cut down on my zapping I can tell you

This does seem to be a recurring theme doesn't it I reckon big empty wharehouses are cheap location spots for hard up British production companies with plenty of room good accoustics and no members of the public to spoil the shot
Answer to:
The poor Farepak members lost all their xmas savings and are now being forced to turn to loan sharks why is there no public appeal for these folks had there been a tsunami the other side of the world there(very rightly) would have been many
AS I said the tsunami was VERY RIGHTLY collected for I am in no way comparing the two what I mean is that the farepak folk are already from the poorer eschelons of our society and if the loan sharks get a grip of them this could lead to very desperate times I feel for them and would have liked to see them have some support

Would you rather read an information book about animal cruelty and prevention so you could learn about the real facts or a book about halloween, christmas etc?
I find it too difficult to read books on animal cruelty it saddens me so deeply that man can do the things he does to defenceless innocent creatures and extract pleasure from such acts. We know it goes on out there I just do my best to take care of animals and watch out for any abuse I also donate to ifaw by standing order

Who cares as long as he doesn't profit! I heard that when he lost his civil case he skipped state in order to avoid paying anything ,he should not have been able to do this. His movements should have been restricted by the courts or he should be made to pay wheresoever he flees

Yes you do lose the only exception to this could be if your opponent had approached and made contact with the table before the cue ball fell but this rule is really only used in strict competition play not a friendly game
