So, you like songs about trains. I like songs about trains myself. I grew up with trains because my dad worked on the railway. Trains played a major part in my childhood memories.
One of my favourite train-themed songs is "Sam" by Keith West, a psychedelic-tinged dramatic 5-minute rock-opera about a guy whose only love in life was a steam engine. That's a truly splendid song, and if you haven't got it, I would recommend you download it.
I have a fair few other train-themed songs in my collection, ranging from the Seekers' version of "The Wreck Of The Old 97" to Saxon's "Princess Of The Night" (another steam-engine one).
