WHY wont my psp play umds i put one inside and it doesnt load it stands there and does nothing some one please help

i dropped my psp once and it didn't want to load UMD's, so i buyed a new one.
my problem was the UMD reader. because the drop was pretty high, the reader was f*cked up.
so for me the only solution was buying a new one
