I used to love Lucky Charms when I was a kid. They're magically delicious! And part of a good balanced breakfast with toast, juice and milk. :-)

most witches would agree as per your poll choice on
    1- Casting spells
    2- Lucky Charms

some others may agree on white and black magic . although many would say it is the intent of the caster that is white or dark .. not the magic itself .

and no witch i know would say they are all atheists .
heck , there are even christian witches and wiccans . wicca itself is a religion .
    witchcraft is a practice .
there are many witch atheists also.

  • There probably are as many different beliefs, when it come to the particulars, as there are Witches.

My wife believes in the following -

    The immortality of the spirit.
    Spiritual guardians, often family members.
The 'handing over' of guardian spirits.
Spiritual 'abilities' are not inherent in the user, but the user is a chanel.
That there are natural (for want of a better word) forces that surround us that we simply do not recognise, let alone understand.

She would also tell you that the term 'witch' is usually misunderstood by the ignorant or fearful and that far more folk than you might credit have abilities in this area.

    Hope that helps.

    Witches believe in Witchcraft.

However, I do want to point out that there is no such thing as "black" magic and "white" magic. Magic is an energy that witches connect to to induce change. That would be like asking do you use "black" electricity or "white" electricity. Such modifiers are open to interpretation by any and all parties (and are most likely to differ from one another).

They might not believe in any of the above.Witchcraft is not something as it is projected to be in the society and in movies. Some relate it with superstitions, but when things are carried out in proper way, it works for the betterment of human lives too. In Pagan culture, some witches were renowned doctors who treated diseases effectively by their knowledge of herbs and nature cure which is shamelessly unknown to to modern medical science.
So, considering witches to be evil, ugly creatures who spell cast, is not a fair thing to do.
See, ain't they pretty and innocent?

On the whole, most witches revere nature, whether or not they believe in magic or lucky charms.
Since even the most well meaning spell could, if successful, have negative outcomes, or the most malicious have unexpected positive outcomes, there can be no such thing as either black or white magic.

I am well versed in ceremonial magic and have been given the title of witch by my peers, I am equally well versed in the various lies spread by certain religions about witches, and passed on by their followers out of ignorance. A lie you believe is still a lie.

Almost everything everyone else believes in...love of family/friends..desire to move through life with grace and dignity. Their "religion" may be different from yours and how they worship may be different but all religions are different anyway, aren't they? Happy Monday THS! :)
