Would you wear your seatbelt while traveling on a bus?

The bus I use to commute to work everyday has 3 point seatbelts for every passenger. On most trip I would be the only passenger to wear my seatbelt. I often wonder why people decide against wearing seatbelts on buses when the majority of people would always use the seatbelts in their cars

Here in Australia .. if ANY car/truck/bus/boat/train is fitted with seat belts they MUST be worn.. if you don't 2 things will happen...#1 you will cop a fine ...#2 if the said car/truck/bus/boat/train crashes and you get hurt and you did not have a seat belt on then you will not get compo or insurance coverage to pay for your injuries.

If the bus enters the interstate/freeway, I would put my seat belt on. They've had a couple of accidents lately.
