Will water stay cooler in an open insulated plastic tumbler or an open insulated aluminum tumbler.

    Aluminum is a good conductor of heat, so there is every possibility for it to absorb heat through conduction from atmosphere.Plastic on the other hand, would not absorb heat that easily.So if the water is cool initially, it would stay cool in plastic container, though aluminum container is better if you want to cool warm water.
