Vinyl vs. CD vs. Tape vs. MP3. Which do you like.

I like CD, they have no-noise and are easy-to-use. I also use Cassette Tapes and an iPod with MP3s, but I still like CD the most.

As much as I don't use Cds anymore, I like the feeling of putting the disk into the computer, or player, or whatever. Plus, with a cd, you can buy a ton of them, and then brag to your friends by showing them your cd collection.

Wow, good question, i like all three.
Seriously, you can't beat vinyl, it is analog and analog is always superior quality over digital (CD or MP3).

Vinyl has that old, nostalgic sound to it and the little minute imperfections really add to the atmosphere.

Tapes are good for the car, I still have a tape player in my car. You can get some good music for about 50 cents at thrift stores. Cassettes are also great for audiobooks and sermons because they stop where you leave them and the lower fidelity doesn't matter with speech-based content. Cds from the Library are always all scratched and smudged up, but the taspes always play fine.

CDs are really awesome, it has good quality sound without the drawback of wear that vinyl experience's. CD burners were one of mankinds greatest inventions. That being said, CDs are portable, but not really. You can't fit a Discman in your pocket, its always bulky and batteries cost ALOT!

MP3s are OK, so long as they are 256K VBR. I like MP3s because you can find the most obscurest thing no one has heard about on a blog or MySpace page and share it through burning CDs or through frostwire. They are also portable, you can bring them on planes, where CDs are usually banned, vinyl is not playable and tapes get erased by the TSA scanners :\

    My 2 cents!
