• bloed, well here is my view:
  what people do in their bedroom is their business.
  when someone is drawn toward the same gender it is also their business as to what they choose in the privacy of their home.
  if a woman wishes to abort it is her decision and busines.
  
  having said all that doesn't mean I personally " condone "
  homosexuality
  lustful behavior of heteros
  women aborting.
  
  
  so, to each their own. no one can expect me to approve, legalize or condone behaviors which I personally do not approve of in my personal value system.
  
  do I respect people for their choices? yes.
  they are responsible for their choices.
  
  you know what I mean?

  Sounds like quite a contradictory to me..

  You also say that 'homosexuality is not a choice', and that 'a person who feels drawn toward the same gender to have sex is choice.' Which you do not think they should live out, to your opinion, as you stated in your original answer.
  
  I'm not trying to attack you here Shunyata, I am trying to find out where you stand. So if I read your words correctly, you actually do not condone any lustful behavior, not between gays and not between straights? Or do you make a difference there?
  Do you live by abstinence yourself?

  Having said that I will neither hinder nor disrespect anyone who chooses differently. Choices and responsibility of suh choices are up to each person.
  This is my personal view.
  Now do I have friends who are gay, or / and lustful, do I have friends who go for one night stands, do I have friends who committed
  abortions ?
  yes
  I do not discuss these things with them. it is THEIR business.
  Their responsibility as to what they do.

• I gave you my "ideal" values and standards.
  I do not "always" nor have I always lived by them.
  Bloed, in other words..... I put up ideals which I like ( would like, strive to ) live by. Do I always reach the ideal? No. But I keep them in mind.
  when I was young I was frivolous. Of course there was no aids around. we had one night stands, and lived wildly ( in thr 60's) .
  Have I had only sex for procreation. NOOOOOOO. I have lustfully enjoyed it for many years. Right now I am celibate because there is no one in my life, nor do I want someone in my life.
