What do you all think of Starbuck's raising their coffee prices...again?

I think they should be ashamed of themselves...but they're not!! I'm sure the owner or owners of Starbucks are already millionaires... they could technically "lower" their prices and still make millions!! I think they are just greedy!!!

Their coffee tastes like crap anyway. Tastes burned. I'm more of a Dunkin Donuts coffee kinda guy instead of all that fancy coffee. How about a nice cup of coffee-flavored coffee. And what's with the fancy title of the person making you a coffee? Is that what they do to encourage you to tip them? Starbuck's sucks.

No worries. We don't like Starbucks coffee so it won't affect us at all. But if we liked it and could afford the already high prices I guess we'd pay through the nose just like everyone else. The coffee we make at home is much tastier to us. So we stick with what tastes best...the fact that it's much less expensive is a bonus! Happy Wednesday ijf! :)

I don't really see it as a large deal. I don't know the exact price increase, but I am sure it isn't within the $5-$10 range. If we are talking about an increase it was likely by the cent. Overall, if you don't like the price increase then find coffee to drink from another means. You can always make your own, or try Dunkin Donuts. Starbucks is a business and they can increase their prices how they see fit. I realize that increaseing prices isn't always feasible, but you have a choice. Since you are the consumer you can choose to pay or not. If there is a price increase you dislike, then shop elsewhere. I don't drink coffee so I couldn't care less. But if I were a coffee drinker, I would be disappointed but I would also find an alternative. Remember, their aim is to make money. As a business they are entitled to do it, even if it isn't always feasible. But you as the consumer must choose to spend your money wisely and find deals elsewhere.

It is a very small increase considering how much the coffee already costs. Anyone honestly worried can make the same thing at home for a fraction of the cost. :)
