    Some parts already were! The town of Rio Rico, Texas was ceded to Mexico in 1970, following the Boundary Treaty of 1970 and the Chamizal dispute of the 60s due to the Rio Grande changing its course.

    Rio Rico, Tamaulipas was legally transferred to Mexico. Do I think that Mexico should get any more land from the US other than Rio Rico? No.
