    Yes, but there are various types of software testing.Basically one is manual which is very tedious and others are automated which use some tools.It's a good career move, but compared to software development, it doesn't have much to learn.Only feeding data and seeing if the desired outcome is fetched or not.If Bugs are found, send it back top the development team to fix, until zero defect is delivered..Anyone who doesn't belong to IT background could do testing.Good job to make some cash, though.

    Umm, yes if you mean software developer testing & QA. This is where programmers attempt to break code that has been written*find bugs, trying every which way to make it not work as it was intended to work.
