Yes it should and must be legal, it IS the only sane and logical thing that can be done.
Religious clap trap and B.S. must be kept out of ALL law making and this is the perfect case for it to have absolutely nothing to do with if its made legal or not.

Legislatures should not be involved in personal choice issues such as gay marriage or abortion. They do so only for political reasons to get more votes. Lobbyists from big businesses want to ensure gay marriage is banned so they do not have to provide health insurance for the increased number of new spouses. It is always about the money.

the sxual union was mean between a man and a woman, for procreation.
furthermore if one comes into the world desiring the same gender.... one a) doesn't have to play it out b) no one forces the person to have same sex c) if the person chooses such behavior, it is no one's busines d) furtherlore people who have same sex relationships, should never expect the approval of others.
I do not care to know what people do in their bedrooms.
Nor does the state and the masses of people have to sanction such same sex marriages.
If a person loves an other, same sex or not, they can protect their partners through wills, trusts, joined savings and bank accounts, joined deeds, medical and other power of attorney.
to me marriage is a sacred agreement between 2 humans who love each other. the staat should not interfer. people scream " it's the chruches, namely christians who do this to us". not so. it is the LAW of each specific country or state which sanction this.
gay people if they need to and wish to, can have a chruch wedding.... but they can't force the laws to be changed so they feel more " accepted".
accept yourself wholly and fully, and don't expect others to erase your inferiority complex through creating laws which makes the person feel better.
