i have tried every combination i can think of- F1, F2, F3 etc. in order to get to bios in compaq presario xp- any other ideas? thanx

Just installed new motherboard videocard &memory. hard drive installed last week. When it turns on, can get to BIOS setup, exit - then it says initializing. goes to start windows screen - in safe mode etc then just keeps rebooting. HELP!

Trying to restore my windows vista. I boot from cd, delete partition, create new partition, format new partition, install windows.....when the computer restarts for the first time, should I let it boot from cd, or start from hard drive for first boot?

I have a hard drive from an old computer that has xp and ubuntu 8.04. It is set as a slave on my new comp(because of new hd) and will boot linux, but i cant get it to boot xp anymore. In GRUB it choose Xp and it flashes the BSOD so fast I cant read.
