pleaaaaase can i use hand and dish washing soap to wash my bun? its ajax bramd

    Go out and buy a specialty shampoo for rabbits. They're small creatures with exceptionally delicate and sensitive skin, and using a harsh cleaner like Ajax, or even a gentle handsoap could cause irritations, skin infections, and allergic reactions. It would be similar to using CLR to wash your hair... Just get a specialty shampoo for your rabbit, and if the bath is really necessary, make sure you thoroughly dry him and help him get warm. Rabbits have a very difficult time getting warm once they get wet or damp.

    i would say no. well at least i would never use that on my rabbits.

    once my rabbit shampoo was done and i really had to bathe my rabbit i used a tiny tiny tiny bit of aloe vera sensitive shampoo on him.

    but then i just went out and i bought a shampoo for small animals.

    its the best way cuz those small animal shampoos are for sensitive skin. like rabbits have.

    There is hardly ever a good reason to wash a rabbit as they often can sicken and die from dampness since it's very difficult to get them dry once they are wet to the skin. Please don't wash your rabbit, and certainly not with something for dishes that has bleach and other harsh, toxic chemicals in it.
