I think a chip in their brain which changes such urges to zero, and rehabilitation as well as community service.... would spare such life.
furthermore a lot of attention should be given to the victim and their healing process.
there is much too little done for the victims to rehabilitate their trauma.

- If that were possible, sure, but honestly why bother sparing such life? I do agree with helping the victims cope though.

- I am not vindictive. I do not think we are the judge and jury. I leave this to a higher power.
  if we do not have the means to rehabilitate such people we need to retain them, keep them in prison and make them work there.

- Prison should be for rehabilitation, barring that they should be swiftly and mercifully executed. If there's a prison designed to keep people in for the rest of their lives, the only public expense related to it should be the construction itself. No food, no medical staff, no electricity, no heating/air conditioning, no plumbing, etc.
