For a school a school assignment. I've always been interested in the whole pen-pal thing, and I think being a pen-pal with a prisoner would be somewhat eye opening.
Do you think a well-respected and successful author is more valuable to society than those who are paid to critique his/her works? Why?

Is any attention better than none even if it is as a result of being out of touch/inept/clueless? Why is attention so necessary to some?

Do irascible people know how grouchy/grumpy they are? Consistently sour. Do they have indigestion more than most? Is that their problem?

While it's good that you are doing that, it's more like family sending mail to family. Not sending mail to someone you've never met before.
