    If she is bold enough to ask for one, she deserves to get one. If she doesn't ask, it could EASILY come off as creepy from you, so be careful with that aspect of it. Not many teenage kids want to associate their parents with their own sexual exploration- not a normative claim, just a quantitative one.

    If she gets one on her own and keeps it a secret, don't punish or scold, and don't let on that you know. Proper exploration of her body and identification of what works and makes her aroused is quite important.

    I'm not a parent, yet. But if I had a teen daughter, sure, I'd buy her a toy. I'd rather buy her her own than fight with her over mine!

    what age-teenage what? let her buy it. perhaps she should learn how to explore and learn about her body without one. go around the "system" and figure out how to get one a different method-like from a boy she teases. she could say "honey ,i will always think of you". guys love that.
