Did anyone else get paddled on the bare in the family room or have to go to their room and strip for a whipping until they were 21?

    My Mother Dearest started with belts . then shoes, then anything she could find - at that point
    Us 4 kids would hide Everything we could see (if 1 of us was in trouble) Imagine her frustration
    looking around in a fury and not finding anything lol. but that was a bad move.. since from THAT
    she went outside and would pull these long milkweeds out of the ground shuck the leaves - or
    Strip the leaves - and have us boys strip and then she would lash us til we bled. and we literally
    Could Not sit still for days It was at that time I changed inside,,,She stopped when my big and older brother pinned her against the wall. She called the cops on HIM,,,HE WAS put in foster care (but to hear the Judge talk down to my brother made me want to jump up yelling "It's HER!
    Not HIM !) I learned to forgive her years ago :0).

    I could share a number of times about how I was made to take off all my clothes and be whipped sometimes with a belt and sometimes with a paddle. Sometimes I had to be whipped in front of my sister and mother when I was completely naked until I was 15 years old. There were a few times that I actually had an orgasm during the spanking when I was laying face down on my bed because I would get so aroused while it was occuring. It was very humilitating and embarrasing and what I would describe as sexual abuse.

    It was bad enough to be spanked with my clothes on.

    My mother hit me and my younger sister for every little thing.

    My father was a hot-head and couldn't control his temper. He would spank us when he was angry. He used us kids like we were punching bags. He once spanked me with his belt, and it was so painful that I blacked out.

    Thank God the spankings stopped when I was 14. I thought that age was inappropriate.....two years too old for "corporal punishment."

    I was but I was 16 in 1968. Spanking was still in favor in rural areas in the country in those days. More adult children are living at home again then ever with the economy so I am sure it happens occasionally though probably not to the extent it did prior to the mid 70s. One needs to remember how different it was. It was either CBS news or 60 Minutes aired a clip of college girls at a university in the deep south being switched and strapped on the buttocks after an antiwar demonstration was broke up. Yes I watched it on television happening in 1968. The boys who took part in the demonstration were arrested and the girls spanked. I am certain that my parents used this news story to justify, in their minds, spanking me until I was well beyond normal spanking age even for that era.

    While some may find the practice disgusting to be sure it has and still does occur to some extent, without a doubt.
