... people may cover most of their bodies with what ever clothing they wish, but in my opinion, the face needs to be clearly visible.

Its no different at all to removing ones bike helmet or ANY other device/material that covers a persons face, it has NOTHING to do with religion/persecution or singling out any one race or nationality. You MUST remove any face covering when getting a passport/driving licence/questioning by police... this is NO different whats so ever.

That's fine. It's a condition of coming to the country and it's known ahead of time.

What's not fine is telling people who already live in the country, what they are not allowed to wear.

Burkas should only be allowed, and even mandatory, for the obese. Otherwise, strickly banned.

What are middle easterners doing moving to Canada?? I couldn't live in Canada and I even grew up in Portland. How do they survive??

This perception that "Muslims are the enemy" is useful to the power elite when they are looking for cannon fodder. Or to expand government's police power, "to protect us from terrorists" of course. After World War I the victorious Allies, most of whom had colonial empires, eviscerated what was left of the Ottoman Empire to create "nations" in the Middle East without regard to ethnic or tribal realities. What gives Europeons that right? White skin privilege? Not to mention force feeding Israel's creation because it solved problems at home in Europe. So how dare the inhabitants of those areas object? The Anglo-Americans and to a lesser extent the French exploited those people for about 125 years. So if they object they are "terrorists?"

Can Christians wear crosses or crucifixes? Can Jews wear their cap? Can Sikhs or Hindus wear their attire? This "Muslims are suspect" attitude is useful to the imperialists when they need cannon fodder and unquestioned support of the status quo. Read some history. Stop being the government's good little sheep.
